yes but not "clearly", that oversized truck blocked their view of the lights until the last second

"Yes officer, I ran the red light. I couldn't see it because of all of the traffic that was slowing down and stopping at the junction."

Even if it did (it didn't), that does not matter
It's on you, as a driver, to know if a light is red or not before proceeding. The light is always "clearly" red, green, yellow, whatever it is if you know how to drive

Very clearly, the light changed to red before they even crossed the line.

Also have to say I didn't see a flash, and maybe the big truck helped. You might have lucked out.

You recorded yourself blowing through a light that was red before you even hit the stop line/entered the intersection.
Shit was red as the devils dick. Not really 'oh well maybe it was an orange'.

50/50, there is usually a small grace period, but some are stricter. You did run the red light. If you can't see a signal, you must slow down and prepare to stop. The impatient drivers will get mad, but their opinion doesn't matter. You are ultimately in control of the safety of operating your vehicle, and only you can be responsible for what it does.

There's always a grace period.
It's called the yellow light. A red light is a red light.

I agree, most cameras do still have a period to ensure they are in sync. That’s all I mean. Cam driver definitely ran the red as I mentioned

Technically speaking you ran through the red, but typically there's a certain grace period, at least that judges give in these cases. Not sure about the traffic camera though
Edit: anyone downvoting has clearly never been to traffic court

That's stupid and wrong, the yellow light is your grace period. Back to driving school you go.
