Guy almost took me out, he’s got a stop sign about 25 feet back and in the middle area where he was turning out of has 2 yield signs and I don’t have a stop sign or yield. I waved my hand in frustration not saying sorry if u were wondering.

Additional details from OP: “2 years ago never posted. Only 5 over so that's that if you thinking I was sending it. Even tried to put me at fault 100% dashcams can save”
Would be nice if someone can verify the speed limit on this road using the available gps coordinates.

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice on a driving situation captured on my dashcam in Ontario.
I’d appreciate your thoughts on who might be at fault if a collision had occurred, as well as how both drivers could have handled the situation more safely.
What happened:
* I was driving in the right lane when I noticed a sign indicating that my lane was ending, so I needed to merge left.
* At around the same time, there was a side street on my front-left. A vehicle was approaching the main road from that side street and intended to turn left onto the main road.
* I realized that the vehicle was partially blocking my path, so I moved slightly toward the lane on my right to avoid a potential collision.

Was coming to a stop behind traffic that was stopped at the red light up ahead and noticed this car flying up behind me. At the exact moment before they moved over into the other lane, I laid on the horn in hopes to get their attention.
Thankfully, there was less traffic stopped at the light in the right lane so that person had room to swerve. Otherwise, this would’ve been pretty bad as I would’ve been sandwiched in (thank you god🙏!!)
Anyways, this happens pretty frequently (where I’ll be stopped or coming to a stop and the person behind me isn’t paying attention) and it’s extremely nerve racking. I also know people who have similar encounters just as frequently too. Just pay attention people :/

Yes, a boomer. I admit right up front that technology and I do not always get along very well. I can often find the solution with time or guidance. But I am looking for a Front/Rear Dashcam for my Ram 1500. I'd like one where I can easily find a video if needed. I've seen a few folks with some fancy ones that just confused me. I am friends with an installer, so I'm good on installation. Just want a system that I can operate, and use, if the need arises. It does not need to be a cheap brand, but it just needs to have a learning curve easier than most. Appreciate it.

Hi, I just finished installing the dashcam. I've routed it behind the facotry loom and secured it with zipties. Is this fine? Thanks in advance!!
It's a Suzuki Swift 2026 with 6 airbags.

Might as well have taken that light since you were already committed past the line. This how accident happen. Especially if someone was to whip at that corner to catch the light to make a left going southbound where we’re coming from. plus it’s not a camera light (yet).

I noticed the mrs car got dinged, no protected recording or collision triggered.
Im left with having to review a weeks worth of parking footage, is there an easier way? Mainly thinking 3rd party software.

You just yield for people already in the roundabout, it's NOT THAT HARD!!
Happens almost every other day on my way to work in the morning. I honked the crap outta that driver, but my dashcam doesn't record audio unfortunately...
Edit: since a lot of people are pointing out about the double lane roundabouts, I agree that if it were a two lane roundabout, then I would've been in the wrong. But as you can see the roundabout is one lane due to the construction, and the joining side street has two lanes. So all outside traffic should yield for people inside and then do a zipper merge into the single lane roundabout. It's definitely bad design as some have pointed out
