Nuggets vs Clippers game thread?

Brazile needs minutes this season he doesn’t need to be sitting on the bench. He will be our Watson replacement

I like the idea of derozan and strawther being scorers for the 2nd unit, and surround them with length/atheleticism and defense. I.e. alpha, brazile, spencer jones, bagley.

Depth on this roster is the main weakness. THJ, PWat, Bruce Brown are huge losses when the bench was already mediocre last year to begin with. Timberwolves have a similar issue but are in a better situation with Bones, TShannon, and Ayo. Spurs and Thunder bench clear us by miles.

Agreed. We sort of need two or three guys to develop into legit rotation players to compete with the Thunder or Spurs in depth. Luckily, we've got a few guys with upside on the roster.

The Spurs have a massive advantage by having so many key players on rookie contracts. Once those deals start to end, their depth will be compromised as well.

I generally like the Broncos beat media (Locked on and DNVR) but man maybe they need to stop with the daily pods, because the reaction to preseason fame and the doom was nauseating. The spurs and the Thunder are like combined 2-7. Does that mean they are going to the play - in? Come on. It was just weird to see such doom. Cam missed his shots, Jokic probably didn’t want to be in LA, Murray was fine, Gordon was fine, Nuggets missed free throws and a lot of open threes. Their defense looks suspect of course. But at this point I only care about health in playoffs. I’m just going to enjoy the basketball during the regular season
