They don't even acknowledge that there was a team that got two additional points in the game.
I know these clowns love doing backstories and sometimes it bleeds into game action, but at a certain point it just seems like they are not doing the basic job. Plus Doris Burke just sucks in general. I used to think she was great, but now? Unlistenable.

This is like when you’re trying to watch the game but you have family over and your brother-in-law, Carson, who doesn’t like sports ball, is talking about the last time that he took his doodle to the groomer but they had changed the shampoo so his doodle freaked out and barked, which was totally embarrassing because Ben, from work, believes that dogs, like wives, should only speak when spoken to, and so now he has to find a different groomer, which is awful, because the 17-year old who checks in the dogs has huge knockers and a nose ring, and you can only imagine what other piercings she has, but at least now he doesn’t have to drive twenty minutes just to end up yanking it in the back of his Jaguar because she doesn’t find him attractive. Fuck Carson.

It’s getting really bad. Nobody thinks preseason matters so they go for extended periods talking an out nonsense and completely ignoring the game. This clip is a classic.

I can’t stand some of the commentary and backstories when it takes away from the game. Most of the stories are fine but don’t forget to do your primary job of announcing the game and bringing energy when cool plays happen.
