Persistent Ipv6 DNS on windows

i changed my modem dns from my home server to cloudflare dns to do some tests and i found out that i can just reset my ipv4 dns and it works fine again, but when i do ping tests with cmd, it insists in using the old ipv6 dns.

i already reseted the dns and changed it manually both in my modem and windows to cloudflare.

is it a problem from windows or am i doing something wrong?

You likely have multiple IPv6 DNS servers configured. What does ipconfig /all output

Looks like the modem has "assign DNS manually" turned on, and both IPv6 DNS servers are still the old 2804:14d addresses. Your PC asks the router (that fe80:: address in your nslookup), the router passes it on to those servers, and they never answer. Change both IPv6 entries to Cloudflare's, 2606:4700:4700::1111 and 2606:4700:4700::1001, or turn the manual setting off. Then run ipconfig /renew6 and ipconfig /flushdns and try nslookup again.
