Discussion Pulled a few favorites from the CD collection. Which ones are staying in your rotation?
Was digging through my CD collection and pulled out a few favorites that have influenced my musical tastes over the years.
Some classics, some cult favorites, and a few that don't seem to get talked about quite as often.
Curious what everyone thinks of these. Which ones would you put on first? 🤘

Staying in my rotation are definitely the albums Dopethrone, Blood Lust and Stinking up the Night.
I recognize some of these bands but not all of them. Could we get a album/artist listing, please? I need more recs. 😬

That’s tough. First one going on is either Dopethrone or Blood Lust. Then followed by Violence Dimension and Eternal Return

I'm a Nicke Andersson superfan. Entombed, The Hellacopters, Lucifer, Death Breath. Everything he touches turns to gold.
Death Breath sounds like early Entombed, Wolverine Blues Entombed, and Repulsion had a baby.
They never released that 2nd album but they did release The Old Hag a few years ago. That's something.

You're asking me to pick my favourite child here.
Never heard of Death Breath. I'm not a huge fan of Mephistopheles, I discovered them quite late into my dive into doom and they just sound a bit generic at this point. 1782 are good but also not a favourite.
But please don't ask me to choose between the rest.

thanks man, great choices there! half of it is on my own favorite list.. Dopethrone, Blood Lust, 1782, Castle Rat, Mephistofeles - all absolutely solid! I'll give a listen to the few unknowns..

Top 6 and dope thrown are all in the rotation. Songs from the rest pop up on playlists and I don't skip them but they don't quite make the rotation

I also have The Art of Self Defense and Blessed Black Wings in this collection. I had Cometh the Storm and Luminiferous, but lost them one night while I was on an "adventure" 🤣🤘
