Seriously DTE ? Maintenance at 1500
WTF DTE ? Your trucks have been sitting at the end of the street all day today since 0800 and now at 1500 you take power down for “scheduled maintenance” and restore time is 1935 ?
Why do maintenance this late with people coming home from work, dinner hours, kids getting home from school etc….not to even ask WTF have the workers been doing for 7 hours ??
Last thing, if this was “scheduled maintenance” how about I don’t know maybe a day notice or something since you say it’s “scheduled”
Rant over

They were probably waiting on orders to shut it down or waiting on an operator to shut it down in the substation. Sometimes there will be no notifications. They try and do angel calls but sometimes it doesn't happen

If it was “scheduled” as they say it was wouldn’t you think all the ducks would be in a row for that day of “scheduled maintenance”
I mean it’s electricity arguably the most important of utilities.

Thats just the cause code that gets put in. If its going to be an intentional outage then its scheduled by default. Sometimes its scheduled 2 weeks ahead of time sometimes its "scheduled" in 5mins because something is at risk of imminent failure. If the lineman roll up on a job and the wire is about to burn down and power needs to be shut off that is now officially scheduled
