Give me fic recommendations Looking for lonely!Draco
Hi y’all!
I recently read and LOVED Pop Up Pals and Soup-pocalypse and The Great Curry Cataclysm and one aspect I really liked was Draco being lonely and having no friends and eventually making his own friend and also being integrated into Harry’s friend group. So I was hoping for some recs with something similar!

Big Black Sky. Draco has absolutely no one other than Scorpius and an abusive ex he’s trying to flee. When Scorpius gets sick and St Mungo’s refuses to see the son of a Death Eater, Draco is forced to turn to Harry for help. It’s such a good story.

When the Grim arrived at Malfoy Manor, Draco knew he didn’t have much time left.
It was really quite inconsiderate of it, to only appear after the war was over. Draco had thought he was free to trudge about the Manor in gloomy isolation, feeding the thestral herd and staring glumly at yet another cucumber-and-cheese sandwich. Even the portraits had fled.
Now, though, with a portent of doom skulking at his heels, Draco has found that perhaps a deadline was just the thing he needed to feel alive again.
Adaptation under isolation and domestication; characteristics both immutable and variable.
After suffering enormous losses, Draco Malfoy must now struggle to define his place in the post-war world. Through dashed hopes and changing fortunes, Draco carves out a new niche for himself. But adapting to life with Harry Potter may be the biggest challenge of all.
Series
Draco is lonely in all of these which are a mix of different fics and ages (in State of Mind they are older). He doesn’t necessarily become friends with Harry’s friends in all of them though. Hope you find something you like :)

Draco Malfoy leads an ordered but rather unfulfilling life, working in a Ministry basement and residing in his cramped Muggle flat. Feeling underappreciated and horribly lonely, he purchases some special charms that allow him to conjure imaginary friends. Unfortunately, after becoming a suspect in a potions smuggling investigation, Draco is forced to surrender a month’s worth of memories for a Pensieve Probe.
The aurors assigned to bear witness to his most private and embarrassing moments are none other than the Ministry ‘darlings’ Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley

In Sourdough Draco is friends with Pansy but is still pretty lonely; he also has agoraphobia which adds to the lonely feeling.
you’ve got the antidote for me also starts with a very lonely Draco who eventually gets integrated into Harry’s friend group.

Warm Bodies by Betty_Hazel is a top tier Drarry fic for me, and one of the many reasons for that is the lonely!Draco aspect.
It is extremely kink heavy, though, as exploring his newfound freedom is the major catalyst for this story, so read the tags and understand what you’re getting into; they’re explicit and prominent.
The story is soulful and beautiful in its complex simplicity. Draco (and Harry) working through loneliness and shame moved me in ways I can’t explain. Changed my life. Highly recommend.

draco's loneliness comes up a lot in Salt by Fluffy_Underneath! it's also just generally amazing.
