Why must the devs keep the pets like abyssius and Swooshie be gatekeeped beyond paywalls!? RELEASE THEM FOR US F2P PEOPLE TO USE

Idk but they could make codes after an update that will give one pet coupon, but they'll give you a random pet instead of exchange.

you don't really need them unless you really want to do a super specific build. otherwise you're fine with anything else

around January, the ticket selector gift was for something else. don't remember what it was for, might've been a milestone thing.

on the last anniv they rerun the past character skin passes but on their full price

What do you do with Swooshie anyway what exactly do you get to use from "distance based damage removed." Yomi is better imo.

Given they are a paid feature, it would need to be something rather uniquely challenging and/or limited.

Getting mileage with ads or other special currency to get stuff, let us watch X10 ads per day or something.

Add another special currency for each time you finish a challenge run.

Add events that boost the currencies with both farmable and paid options.

Gachas does that and it works, even if this game isn't a gacha, at the rate stuff is released and gets locked behind fomo & paywalls it would help f2p players to build a better account.

Well ok mileage with ads would defeat the point of it being mileage, 0% chance of that one.

I could maybe see the challenge run idea though - but maybe not as a currency but a challenge modifier? Something like the elemental tag ones but where the modifier forcibly sets your pet to one of the premium ones and completing that run on of the 2 final bosses (Geb & Nut or Benedict) would progress you towards permanently unlocking it?

Exact amounts would need tinkering but that could be a neat idea - could call them like "Pet Quests" or something - have a limited number per week like boss hunter.
