Imagine Learning. Experiences?

Is ImagineLearning.com a reputable organization? In my limited experience, this organization is a hot mess - and that's putting it kindly.

From the application process to interviews, to onboarding - one of the most disorganized organizations ever. Perhaps too many "chiefs", as I have been contacted by at least a dozen different "supervisors" each providing different information - very little of which is correct - and I haven't officially started yet.

Heck, even the New Employee Orientation is a joke. Two different supervisors sent out meeting links with start times. Needless to say, the meeting links were incorrect, as were the start times. Had to reach out again regarding the meeting link and start time, and by the time anyone responded, only 15 minutes remained in the New Employee Orientation meeting.

Not that the meeting was worthwhile. Perhaps because I missed most of the meeting, but what I observed, it was just someone reading a PowerPoint presentation.

Still have no idea what I will be allegedly teaching, who are my students, etc. Keep receiving different answers - and "supervisors" take forever to respond.

Does anyone have experience working with Imagine Learning? Is this organization always a mess?

I work with a shitload of people who fled that company. Where I work now is very flawed in lots of ways. All of them talk about their time at imagine learning like it was their Vietnam but with hardcore Mormons in charge who think their bad ideas are divinely inspired.

Jobs are hard to come by, so no blame whatever you decide, but I would proceed with so much caution.

It's only a part time, remote teaching role, not a corporate job. But thanks for the heads up.

Funny part, the IT orientation meeting was interesting - everyone who has the same "supervisor" as me, has had issues with communication and receiving the correct information.

Was downsized about 16 month ago, and still looking for another full time job. Have been doing a variety of gig jobs since, just trying to get by. Imagine Learning is just another gig,

Do you have any tips for making it to an interview?

None.  Have no idea how they determine who or when to interview.

About a year passed between my initial application and when I first interviewed. In between, Imagine Learning sent multiple rejection notices.

Then between the first interview and the training started was an additional 2 months.

Hard to have any faith in a organization that cannot communicate properly.

Applied to IL a couple of times 3 years ago for some corporate roles, like Sales or Account Executive etc. Got a callback but their HR team was very clumsy. I looked up the person on LinkedIn and turns out we went to the same university. Their degree had nothing with HR or Recruiting. They had graduated with in the past year or two and somehow advanced to Senior Recruiter status. I never got the interview invite link I was told to expect. I followed up and got silence.

Applied a month later on a different role and got a rejection email on a Sunday.

2 encounters. Not a good look. And I've heard bad things on the teaching side.
