Careers in Education How to become a teacher's aid?

I am not sure if this is the right subreddit but how do you become a teacher's aid in Washington? (Preferred option with scholarships/grants if tuition is needed)

Find a job posting for one and read the job description and requirements. You can also just ask the HR department at a school district.

Depends what kind of aid you mean. Parapro in classroom usually just need some college credits or pass a test like ParaPro Assessment. Some districts will train you while you work so no tuition needed

Washington DC or the state of Washington? I was a teacher in Baltimore County MD and they hired teacher's aids for their special ed teachers and one for the each middle or high school's science department. One of the schools, I know one school had a science aid who did not have a degree, but was able to get county assit to work on a degree to become a teacher.

Thanks

When one is in the orbit of DC it has an omnipotent gravitational force to be the most important thing in the universe.

We call them paraprofessionals. No education requirements beyond graduating high school. Pay is low and we are always hiring. NW Washington.
