Elon Alumni: Did you study abroad or do an international internship 1–5 years ago? 5-minute survey for a high school research project.

Hi! I’m Ella, a high school jr in Massachusetts trying to finish my AP Research Capstone project.

I’m studying how alumni who did study abroad or international internships and the tie to  civic engagement after they return to the U.S. Given Elon has the best reputation in the US for study abroad, this seemed like right place.

If you:
• Did study abroad OR an international internship
• Returned to the U.S.
• Are 1–5 years post-program

I’d really appreciate 5–10 minutes of your time 🙏

The survey is:
• Anonymous
• For academic use only
• IRB-approved
• No identifying info collected

Informed consent: Informed Consent Form.

Survey link:  here

I hate to say it but this account is being used only to distribute the survey, and I will not be actively monitoring or responding to general comments. This survey will close 2/25/26.

Responses really help a struggling student. and are greatly appreciated (I've posted it 6 different places and only have 2 responses after 2 weeks🥲).

Want an outlier, let me know. Study abroad was the best thing I ever did.

Does student teaching at Southern Alamance HS count as “study abroad”
