I needed this. I've felt Krishna's love enough times to identify the unique signature. It's hard for me to discern from my perspective of Christ. I've tried asking him how I should go about worship, if I should continue as I have or focus it on him, and I believe this is His answer.
Radhe Radhe!

Here, the pov speaks in such a way that, everything seems to be the consciousness, just be there, the essence of faith, abundance and love or any higher energy thing, is in itself character of God or can say God identity. So in anything when one finds that pointer, it's the God himself. Even one who is having faith on himself only, is indirectly or directly framing oneself to God character. It's the essence and not the body or not the way he lived or eat or reacted. Its way of life, to be in something with God character in you and that will make you feel sinfree and happy and higher conscious will remain maintained within that will lead to pure bliss.

I worship reality itself, no need for a god to stand between me and the reality that insisted on making me.
8
u/Fearless77_ 16h ago
I see this perspective as completely valid even with my Hindu belief. Great thing is even idol worship is not necessary for belief, even an atheistic life with enough discipline can be deeply spiritual as that is realities nature.

It's true, man. The faster you find a way for it to make sense to you, the better life will be. The only thing between you and everything else is ego. Ego isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's our built in survival mechanism. What matters is your relationship to it. For me, I really like the Ardhanarishvara. That makes sense to me personally. Divine masculinity expressed as mind, divine femininity expressed as life force. Neither things have to be entirely deified, because you've already kept them with you from your first breath. They've been ever present all along, for any concept we have of existence lies almost solely in those two domains: thought, and action. If that speaks to you, Nataraja might also. It's a dance. You can move in reaction or opposition, or you can move to the beat and make the most of it. Your choice, really.

I think saying 'god' implies a self where no self exists and only the rules exist beyond the duality of manifest and un-manifest

Non-local reality won a Nobel prize. Stop worshipping a false idol.
2
u/23-1-20-3-8-5-18 16h ago
How did you miss the point all the way to getting the opposite idea?
1
u/Trick-Syrup-813 2h ago
With sarcasm, and hyperbole.
Reality, which insisted on making you is unknowable and only gets to right now, anyway. The worship with faith and devotion is toward a future probability.

For the people who will take the wording in literal sense
Its about being a good person and co existing with nature and environment and not harming it
Its not saying to pray to other gods or stones
10
u/hiraethwerifesteria 20h ago
It is literally saying you can

Bhagavad-Gita 7:23
अन्तवत्तु फलं तेषां तद्भवत्यल्पमेधसाम् ।
देवान्देवयजो यान्ति मद्भक्ता यान्ति मामपि ॥ २३ ॥
antavat tu phalaṁ teṣāṁ
tad bhavaty alpa-medhasām
devān deva-yajo yānti
mad-bhaktā yānti mām api
TRANSLATION
Men of small intelligence worship the demigods, and their fruits are limited and temporary. Those who worship the demigods go to the planets of the demigods, but My devotees ultimately reach My supreme planet.
2
u/New-Land-4757 6h ago
Krishna first states this, that demigod worship is not recommended, and later - 9.23 explains why.
All demigod worship is actually worship of Personality of Godhead, but less intelligent people do not want to worship the Lord, but actually they want to worship demigods for material benefit, that is temporary.
Those white even less intelligence worship nature, or energies or Elons or Bezoses,...
3
u/60109 3h ago
Yes but what you translated as "demigods" is actually "deva" - gods.
All hindu deities including Shiva, Vishnu and even Krshna belong in this category.
So the verse is NOT about people who worship nature spirits or asuras or whatever.
It's more of a reflection on how your life will start to manifest what you worship and focusing on a single form or single idea is ultimately always limiting. It's more important to stay flexible and open-minded, rather than stubborn in your beliefs.
He even says people who worship him will come to him. Cult of Krshna is no different from any other deity cult. You worship a form and you will reach that form.
And it's also a warning about how powerful devotion as tool is. If stupid person uses it for a short-sighted goal, they will come to reap the fruits of regret.
5
u/New-Land-4757 3h ago
Sorry, I was referring to devas as demi gods because English is hard to translate to. Vedas say that all devas come from the Supreme deva so in that way they are not the source, but are partial representatives of the Source. Just as the ministers are representatives of the king. They are not the kings themselves, but are qualified to represent him.
3
u/60109 3h ago
Yes but what's important is that it applies to basically all gods humans worship - Jesus, Allah, Krshna, Vishnu, Shiva, Devi, Kali, ...
As soon as you give it a name and form it's no longer the Supreme source (parabrahma) and becomes a deva, a limited expression of the Supreme.
The deeper message there is that if you get too invested in any particular idea you will reach only particular results. If your belief in a god leads you to fight wars and cause harm to others who don't share your belief, your conviction becomes your detriment instead.
If you only worship life, you will become scared of death.
If you only worship the good, you will be repulsed by the bad.
If you insist on being right, you will be proven wrong.

I dunno, if I was such a being, the last thing I'd want is worship. Love is cool, fellowship is cool, teaching things would be cool. But not worship. I'm wary of any being that gets it's jollies that way.

John 14:6
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Jesus didn’t say he was a way, he said he is the way.

Acts 4:11-12
“This Yeshua is the stone rejected by you builders which has become the cornerstone. There is salvation in no one else! For there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by whom we must be saved!”

They’re all talking about the same god
-6
u/somethingspecial29 21h ago
Yeshua is God.
The God of Israel does not present Himself as thousands of other gods. Otherwise, He would be a liar and a deceiever.
5
u/whyitmatter83 20h ago
All I’ll say, is go compare religions. 7 pops up and awful lot, and literally all the end goals of those religions are described the same way. I guess you can lead a horse to water but can’t get it to drink, I’m hopeful you’ll join us one day tho brother
-3
u/somethingspecial29 20h ago
I agree for the most part that the end goals of most religions are ultimately love. I believe God did speak to most other religions.
But the end goal of Christianity is more than just love - it's the reward you get from Yeshua when He returns to reign as King, with all nations and tribes walking in the light of His presence.
It's the right to enjoy the Tree of Life forever.
I am not in competition with other religions, but if another 'god' is saying things that don't allign with Yeshua's glory and supreme divinity, I will speak my truth and I will be completely unashamed in doing so.
2
u/Fearless77_ 16h ago
I agree with Christian concepts and the glory of Christ completely but heavily dislike the singular focus. I see that same Christ like nature in the heart of every being and idea and find it silly to believe that the narrow Christian way of thinking about it is the only one. If each being has their own personal connection with god I see no reason to not accept this natural diversity. The funniest part is Christ himself was not a being of hatred but pure love and treating other beliefs as lesser than or invalid is simply opposite to his nature.

I’m clowning you, friend.
Jesus is cool.
So is Allah.
So is Buddha.
They’re all cool ✨0
u/somethingspecial29 20h ago
Clowning me for my spirituality is very enlightened of you.
I have no issue with Allah or Buddha.
To me, Allah is Yeshua, Muslims just don't know it yet.
Buddha was a seeker. He didn't teach a false god. I like Buddhism, and I see Yeshua in Buddhists.
I don't think you would see Jesus as cool like you say He is if you actually knew what He taught... because Yeshua is the Spirit of truth, and one thing truth does that nobody likes to talk about, is that it divides.
Truth has to separate itself from lies.
1
u/whyitmatter83 20h ago
I mean not trying to be rude, but that should tell you all you need to know about how much people know about religion. All Abrahamic religions worship yeshua, it’s not an opinion. Also, when it comes down to it, I really believe Christianity divides more than people who are saying we all worship the same god, it’s all describing the same thing. If you’re look at it as something external, I’m sorry but you don’t understand it either. Maybe you do, I’m unsure of your beliefs but, most Christian’s think god is some external being and it’s not what Christianity was trying to say
1
u/somethingspecial29 20h ago
Christianity teaches absolute unity with God and eachother.
Christianity teaches that God is within us, that Yeshua is within us.
According to Christianity, we are one with Yeshua. He is the Tree of Life, and we are the branches, chosen to bear spiritual fruit - and the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, goodness, and self-control.
If you'll bear with me I'll show you what I mean and that it actually does teach these things.
Ephesians 3:14-19
“For this reason I bow my knees before the Father— from Him every family in heaven and on earth receives its name. I pray that from His glorious riches He would grant you to be strengthened in your inner being with power through His Spirit, so that Messiah may dwell in your hearts through faith. I pray that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to grasp with all the kedoshim what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Messiah which surpasses knowledge, so you may be filled up with all the fullness of God.”
Colossians 2:9-10
“For all the fullness of Deity lives bodily in Him, and in Him you have been filled to fullness. He is the head over every ruler and authority.”
John 14:20
“On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you."
2 Corinthians 4:6-7
“For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ. But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us."
1 John 4:11-16
“Loved ones, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God. If we love one another, God abides in us and His love is made perfect in us. We know that we abide in Him and He in us by this—because He has given us of His Spirit. We have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son as Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Yeshua is Ben-Elohim, God abides in him and he abides in God. So we have come to know and trust in the love that God has for us. God is love. Now whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.”
John 17:20-26
“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”
Galatians 2:19-20
“For through law I died to law, so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Messiah; and it is no longer I who live, but Messiah lives in me. And the life I now live in the body, I live by trusting in Ben-Elohim—who loved me and gave Himself up for me.”
Colossians 1:27
“God chose to make known to them this glorious mystery regarding the Gentiles—which is Messiah in you, the hope of glory!”
John 15:4-5
“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."

And you’re clowning Krishna. In the same way they probably made fun of Jesus because they’re the same idea lol
1
u/somethingspecial29 16h ago
I'm not making fun of Krishna. I'm just stating my belief that just because a passage says I'm worshipping Krishna by worshipping Yeshua doesn't mean I'm actually worshipping Krishna. I'm worshipping Yeshua Ben-Elohim, a very specific being. Not Krishna. They're two different things.
1
u/Fearless77_ 16h ago
I see your perspective and understand that now. I just disagree on the idea of separation itself,
I see the godly essence of all things interconnected and often overlapping even if unintentional because the godly essence is universal in all things.
All respect to how you see it though, I understand what you mean.3
u/modern_jivanmukti 21h ago
Abrahamic rereligions have zero authority over truth. Gtfo with that nonsense

You also have zero authority over truth.

You dont really know this kind of thing though, and how could you really? You think it's all woo woo but nothing could be further from the truth

If people only knew what His presence is like... He's so beautiful, the most wonderful and healing thing I've ever experienced in this life. His peace and joy is unmatched.

u/Fearless77_ 16h ago
It’s funny because this exactly the way I feel about Krishna. Could have used the same description and I’d have completely agreed. There really isn’t that much difference, it’s just different ways of thinking about the same innate nature of god.

This is perhaps the most beautiful line in the whole of the Gita.
