In the post-credit scene, Emily is at Jesse’s bedside. If the player leaves Dylan idle for a moment, a few lines of dialogue play. The transcripts are below: 

“I wish I could just…pick up the hotline and talk to you. Which is stupid of course, you know what i mean.i want you to know that you are not alone, okay? At least, not in the physical world anyway. I just… I just don’t know if you’re here, or somewhere else. Can you hear me?”

“Dr. Florez says that your heart rate is elevated by 40 beats per minute over your resting heart rate on record, so… I've got a pile of textbooks and I'm... I'm reading every lunch break. And... I've got your research from when Dylan was here. We're going to figure this out, okay?”

"I’ve got to go back to work. I'm sure you know, a Director's work never ends. I really hate this job. You knew I would hate this. And I'm not even doing half of it. I'm just...I'm just going to stay with you a little longer. Okay? If you have a problem with that, you can come back here and just... Take your job back. Okay?"

"I'm so sorry that I didn't realize what you were going through before the lockdown fell. Why didn't you... Jesse if you'd told me, I might have been able to help. Why didn't you let me try?"

"Jesse, there's something I have to tell you. I should have said it years ago. Guess I'll have to wait a little longer. I'll tell you when you wake up, okay?"

Dylan (player) asks Emily about Jesse

Emily: Oh… hey, hey, Dylan.

Dylan: How is she today?

Emily: The same. Well, at least externally. Dr. Florez says Jesse’s experiencing occasional spikes of unexpected brain activity. So we just… we don’t know what that means yet. How are you holding up?

Dylan: (Player chooses from several dialogue options.) I don’t want to go out there and live a life without her. We were supposed to finally get to know each other.

Emily: Oh, you will, Dylan. You will. You just… you just have to wait a little longer.

Dylan: We will find a way to wake her up.

Emily: Absolutely. And in the meantime, let’s… let’s make sure she doesn’t return to a huge pile of work. Speaking of, I should, uh, give you some time with your sister.

Dylan: It’s okay. I’ll come back.

Emily: Dylan, Jesse chose to do this for you.

Dylan: I know.

Emily Speaks to Jesse

Emily: Jesse, do you remember that night I convinced you to steal a few bottles of that awful beer that security brewed up? I mean, you grabbed a couple of fiber ration bars because we figured they paired best with the beer, because they both tasted so awful.

And we went to the quarry and sat under the stars. And… and we talked about how long we might be stuck in lockdown, and what kind of a life somebody could build, trapped in this building forever—if it was even possible to make a real life, you know, here at this office.

And I… I never told you that I… I felt like I kind of… already had one.

Jesse, I don’t want to go back until you’re better. I don’t want to see the stars again without you.
