News Showing some love: Welcome To Sam Herder Sports - FCS Daily Podcasts & Articles

https://www.patreon.com/SamHerderSports/posts/welcome-to-sam-167570910

Hero eliminated Sam’s role today, and he’s striking out independent. Normally we don’t allow promotion like this, but just this once gonna show Sam some love and promote his new independent platform promoting the FCS.

Feel bad for Sam. He is THE standard for FCS coverage, and at least in my opinion the absolute best we've got. Hope the independent route works and he can find enough patreon support and/or sponsorships to keep the ball rolling.

Why the fuck would Hero sports lay him off? He’s consistently the standard for fcs content

He's literally the only reason I have ever been to their site.

It was apparently BetMGM, the parent company of Hero, that made the decision. Nevertheless, real shitty thing to do 3 days before the season.

Colton Pool who did a bunch of their G5 content the last couple years got let go as well so this isn't just an FCS thing.

Where did you see Colton Pool being let go?

His contact page on the site, like Herder's, is gone.

I wouldn't pay for this through HERO, but I sure will if it's through him directly. Good to know that goes directly to the person and not the company who was obviously willing to get rid of him after the cards fell.

I've never subscribed to a Patreon before, but $8 for Sam's content is such an easy decision

That’s surprising tbh, he’s always done great coverage from what I’ve seen. I wonder what Hero’s analytics were, because if I’m looking for FBS coverage, they’re sure not the first website I go to

I found this news really upsetting, but I am betting on Sam that he comes out of this in a better situation.

I subscribed to Herder's patreon. FCS needs the coverage.
