Looking ahead there’s an outside chance SDSU @ UND in two weeks could be #1 vs #2 depending on how next week plays out. Would of course require UND beating UNI which is certainly not a given anymore, plus Montana losing to NAU which is possible and Tarleton losing to Austin Peay.

Funny enough SFA has, or at least had, a top 10 rushing and passing offense. SFA was one of the higher scoring offenses in the FCS before last night. It’s not a flashy offense, but it definitely isn’t a bad offense.

But yeah, last night was just sloppy from start to finish, but the saying is winners win, and SFA found a way to make plays when they needed to. An ugly win sometimes is more impressive than a blowout win.

Last year’s team had problems that were getting exposed even before Chase went down. Defense was struggling mightily and the o-line play was not good, this year is far superior in those areas. But we’ll see, anything can happen in CFB.

Our O-line took it personal that they couldn’t hold up the 605 hogs reputation last year. Also helps that the RBs are a year older and things have slowed down for them. Defense looks as good as it ever has.
