Casual Free Talk Friday

If there's anything you want to talk about, celebrate, complain about, etc., go for it. Doesn't need to be FCS specific.

Note: Basic rules still apply

It's been a rough week. Especially Monday.

If you're struggling, reach out to someone. Life is hard but don't use a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

In collaboration with Cornell’s Marching Band in response to the events regarding sexual assault on Cornell’s campus, both the Marching 97 (Lehigh’s Marching Band) and the Cornell Marching Band will be wearing teal ribbons at the game

Edit: To the people downvoting this and my other comment on this post, you are very sad, pathetic individuals and should seek help

Is it a flame or the official away game?

Unfortunately, this is the official away game. That schedule gets decided in the Spring before anything else happens. If we had found out the news before September 1st, which is when we finalized travel and paid for the busses, we wouldn’t be going tomorrow. At least we’re doing something though with the teal ribbons. The whole situation at Cornell is disgusting

Went and saw Ken Russell's The Devils last night. Lmao what a movie. Might be one of my new favorites. If you can handle some (a lot) of sexual and religious material, I highly recommend seeing it if it's playing near you. It's absolutely bonkers

Wife and I are going to see that on 35mm tomorrow evening and I’m pretty stoked.

The remaster is absolutely gorgeous. I'm jealous you're seeing it in 35mm, I was only able to see it in digital. You'll have to let me know your thoughts!

The cold front is going to make it chilly tomorrow. Perfect for a fall afternoon game, but we'll be a bit flat. Excited to put the show on the field and watch some Tech football!
