Hair Health Got my hair pulled out multiple times over 2 days
23f, I’m so upset I can barely write this. I keep almost forgetting about it and laughing for a moment, then loooking in the mirror, and it just eats me up. I can’t barely do this I need it back I need my hair back. I really need some advice and maybe a reality check, no sugar coating just because I’m upset, on if it’ll ever actually come back as pretty and dense as ir was before. I’m soooo heart broken I haven’t been able to stop crying or sleep.
Title is the story. Was violently attacked over two days and was dragged/slammed my my hair over and over and just otherwise attacked pretty severely. The bald spots are kind of every where but this is the one most easily photographed and really makes the difference in my hair imo..
I had shaved my head with my grandmother before she passed of pancreatic cancer in 2021 and pretty much let it grow out till then without any dye until maybe the past year and I would only dye it black. Overall I was always told how thick and beautiful my hair was, even when I was feeling like maybe it wasn’t.
I have been on Semaglutide since April, and I have lost 85lbs since 1/1/26.
I had already noticed my hair thinning and was worried so I started taking Lustriva and kirkland multivitamin. I use The Ordinary hair serum daily. For my shampoo and conditioner I use the garnier whole blends honey treasures.
I’m going to start a fish oil pill or maybe pumpkin seed oil, hair oiling before washes with pumpkin seed oil and rosemary essential oil, dove bond repair hair mask, and I’m considering reaching out to a dermatologist and getting on minoxidil or something of the sort (I can’t take it topically because I have 4 cats). I know all these products aren’t great quality but I’m so broke atm.
But my questions are:
Will it come back the same way it did? Do I need to get a hair transplant if I ever want it back without taking meds daily? What can I/should I do now?! Please please please help me I’m so devastated
