💻 Help Super bloated entries folder?
As of late, I've been struggling in regards to my storage on my computer, as it had it's storage consistently filled. Some friends helped me look through things, and found this folder with around 440k files, with the largest being 50 MB.
Does anyone know what this is? Is it essential or should I trash it? How do I debloat it if I do keep it?
A very hopeful thanks in advance

"entries" is empty for me. I have caching disabled and I'm making some assumptions here based on that:
Go into Firefox Settings, Privacy and Security, Browsing Data, Clear Browsing Data. Where it says "When" select "Everything" and then ONLY select "Temporary cached files and pages." There's a cache size value on that line as well, so you can reference that to infer whether this is related to what you see on disk. (For me it says 0).
In about:config, you can try setting "browser.cache.disk.capacity" to a smaller value and see if that limits how much gets cached in there.
If you really want to live on the edge, set "browser.cache.disk.capacity" to 0 and set "browser.cache.disk.enable" and "browser.cache.disk_cache_ssl" to false. Again, those are my cache settings and my entries directory is empty. Some people might argue this hurts performance, but I've never had any issues with any sites and don't feel any difference. IMO browser cache is a relic from dial-up days.

there's no Firefox folder for c:/entries
the only app that AI can think of that would use that is from JPL
otherwise, safe to delete
