Success Story Success Story Mega Thread - Got your BFP? We want to hear about it!
This is your space to share your success story with the community that cheered you on. Whether it took you 1 cycle or 12, your story matters and someone out there needs to hear it right now.
When sharing please include anything you feel comfortable with such as how many cycles it took, what you were tracking, what worked for you, and anything you wish you had known at the start.
When sharing your story feel free to use this format:
- Cycles it took:
- What I tracked/tools:
- What I think helped:
- Anything I wish I knew at the start:
- Any advice for others still in the TWW:
- A few things to keep in mind:
This thread is for everyone who has been trying for any length of time. All success stories are valid here, whether cycle 1 or cycle 12+. Please be kind and keep any negative thoughts to yourself.
Please don't tag other users in your post. You can absolutely thank people, just don't tag them directly. This keeps the thread comfortable for everyone, including those who may find BFP posts difficult to see.
If you have nothing kind to add, please scroll on.
Comments that are unkind or gatekeeping will be removed.
Congratulations and welcome to the next chapter! šø

Hey everyone! A few quick updates from the mod team š
Nothing major, just some housekeeping to make the sub easier to navigate for everyone. Thanks in advance for bearing with us!
- Flairs got a refresh ā We updated the post flairs, so please use them when you post! It just makes it way easier for people to scroll and find exactly what they're looking for (or avoid what they're not in the mood for). If you feel like we're missing one, drop a comment or shoot us a message, we're always open to suggestions.
- BFPs go in the megathread ā We've got a pinned Success Stories megathread and we'd love for all the exciting news to live there so we can celebrate together in one spot!
- Discharge pics need a trigger warning ā If you're posting about discharge and want to add a pic, please use the Trigger Warning flair, blur the image, and pop it in the comments rather than the main post. Small thing, but it keeps the feed comfy for everyone scrolling.
- Line eyes? We've got you, but keep pics in the comments ā We all know that feeling of staring at a test way too long trying to decide if that's a line or a shadow. Totally normal, no judgment! Just use the "Line Eyes - Help!" flair and keep the pictures in the comments instead of the post itself. Reason being, when posts get flooded with test pics, it can be harder for yours (and everyone else's) to actually get seen and get the support you need. This just helps spread the love around a bit better
Just a heads up: posts that don't follow the line eyes or discharge picture guidelines will be removed, so we really appreciate you helping us keep this consistent for everyone.
Thanks so much for helping us keep this space easy to use and kind, as always. Questions or ideas? Drop them below, we read everything!

Frustrated Tried for three months and already feel like giving up.
Hi everyone! Iām posting to see if anyone else has experienced similar feelings while trying to conceive.
I feel frustrated knowing that everyone in my family has had kids without issues. Iām one of 12 siblings, and I grew up believing I would probably get pregnant just by looking at a guy š Now that Iām experiencing something different, I feel almost stupid for having assumed it would be so easy.
My husband and I were on the fence about having kids for the past couple of years. We both loved the idea of experiencing that kind of love, but we also questioned whether it was selfish to bring a child into the world simply because we wanted to experience it. This year, when I turned 34, we finally decided we wanted to try, with the understanding that we wouldnāt pursue fertility treatments if it didnāt happen naturally.
We started taking prenatals, eating better, making healthier lifestyle changes, and taking supplements. My husband has also been taking supplements to support male fertility. We started actively trying in August, and now itās October, and nothing has happened yet. š
I know that two or three months is a very short time compared with what so many people have gone through, and I donāt want to minimize anyone elseās struggles. But Iām surprised by how much this is already affecting me emotionally.
Iām an anxious person to begin with, and tracking my cycle, counting down the days until I can test, and analyzing every little symptom is exhausting. Then, about a week before my period, the familiar symptoms start showing up, and I convince myself Iām not pregnant. The disappointment begins before my period even arrives.
And thatās when my mind starts spiraling.
Part of me wonders if this is a sign that I shouldnāt have kids and that maybe I should stop trying. Another part is terrified that something might be wrong with me and wants to get every possible test done. I think about taking a couple of months off from trying until I figure out whatās going on, but then another thought creeps in: Iām 34. Am I running out of time?
Itās exhausting feeling like Iām constantly fighting with myself. One minute I want to stop thinking about all of it and let things happen naturally, and the next I feel like I need answers immediately.
I think part of what makes this so difficult is that I never really considered the possibility that getting pregnant might not happen quickly for me. After years of being on the fence, weāve finally decided we want this, and now Iām scared it might not happen.
Has anyone else experienced this anxiety so early in their TTC journey? How do you cope with the uncertainty without letting it take over your life? Did you find that getting some initial fertility testing helped ease your mind, or did it make the anxiety worse?
Iād really appreciate hearing your experiences. ā¤ļø

Question/Advice TTC advice
Good morning!
We have been trying for a child since February. Last month I started ovulation tests and temperature measurement in order to better understand my body, because I have a cycle of about 35 days with fluctuations (30-40 sometimes).
last month I had a positive ovulation test on the 24th day of my cycle.
The temperatures were as follows:
24th 36.1
25th 36.2
26th 36.4
27th 36.6
28th 36.4
29th 36.6
30th 36.3
31st 36.4
32nd 36.3
33rd 36.4
34th 36 and late in the evening my period came (luteal phase 9-10 days)
In this cycle I had a positive ovulation test on the 21st day of the cycle and temperatures:
21st 36.4
22nd 36.1
23rd 36.6
24th 36.5
25th (today) 36.1
I have the following questions:
Is it possible that I did not ovulate in this cycle?
Is a 9-10 day luteal phase a deterrent to conception?
I should note that I have been taking myo-inositol since June 22nd to improve ovulation and the cycle, but I still don't know if it is effective.
Thank you in advance!

Random CD26, no period but negative tests, could I still be pregnant?
Iām 28 and TTC. My period started 23 Sept and I had a specialist ultrasound on 29 Sept that showed a 14 mm dominant follicle. Based on that, Iām estimating I ovulated around 3ā5 Oct (probably 4ā5 Oct).
We had sex on 3, 5, 11 and 14 Oct.
This cycle Iāve had way more creamy/white discharge than usual, feeling very wet, nausea, fatigue, bloating, frequent urination and intermittent cramps/twinges. I normally get spotting before my period, but Iām now CD26 with absolutely no spotting or period.
I tested negative on 15 Oct and again yesterday (17 Oct). If I ovulated 5 Oct, yesterday would only have been around 12 DPO.
I also had very fertile-looking/stretchy cervical mucus around 10ā11 Oct, so Iām wondering if I could have ovulated later than expected. Iāve never skipped a period before.
Would you still think pregnancy is possible, or would the negative tests at this point make you think I just ovulated late? When would you test again?

Confused Please help me decipher
This month is my first time officially tracking lh. Premom says I ovulated CD 19, natural cycles has pushed me to CD 27. Iām so confused! My cycle is 33 days long. Iāve ovulated CD 19-25 before. Did I miss peak fertility, or am I just fluctuating until lh surge? Iāve also had to manually put in ānegativeā on natural cycles because it was reading my .5 and .6 readings as positive. Please help! Thanks:)

Question/Advice Possible TMI - CM after BD
Sometimes I hate posting on here because I feel like iām being so disgustingly overly detailed lol but also this is the most helpful community ever. After sex my partner said he noticed stringy white bits when he went to the bathroom. Could this have been my cervical mucus? He said it definitely wasnāt semen as it was very stretchy. If it is my CM Iām assuming that would be a good sign. Since then iāve been extremely dry so wondering if that was me fertile.

TWW 12 DPO, brown spotting and emotionally exhausted from TTC
I'm 12 DPO and honestly, I'm so fed up with the emotional rollercoaster of trying to conceive.
We've recently been through IVF, and our only embryo that made it to biopsy and freezing wasn't suitable for transfer after genetic testing. It was heartbreaking, and I'm still processing it all while trying to conceive naturally.
This cycle, I've been analysing everything. My Ultrahuman Ring, temperature, resting heart rate, discharge, appetite and every little symptom. Now I'm experiencing light dark-brown spotting, with a tiny bit of pink when wiping. My period isn't due for another couple of days, and I have no idea what to think.
My mood has changed drastically. I'm angry, emotional, confused and exhausted. One minute I have hope, and the next I'm preparing myself for disappointment. I'm sick of spending two weeks hoping and the next two weeks feeling dread, sadness and frustration.
I spend so much time reading everyone's posts looking for hope, reassurance and wisdom. I know symptoms can't tell me whether I'm pregnant, but when you're desperate for an answer, it's hard not to analyse everything.
I just needed to get this off my chest. How do you cope with the two-week wait, the spotting, the symptom spotting and the constant emotional ups and downs?
I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who understands. ā¤ļø

Confused pcos LH
Hello! This is my first time actually LH tracking consistently for my cycle as i was told I have PCOS a few weeks ago, ive only started having super irregular cycles since May cycle lasted 52 days and then again my last cycle. i thought it was from stress from moving and such. im a healthy weight 115lbs and get enough exercise. I was told one of my ovaries has over 25 follicles in it 2 weeks ago which i assume will affect this cycle. I heard an LH surge lasts around i think 24 hours but iāve been having highs and peaks for 4 days now. i got an oura ring a week and a half ago so its still trying to figure out and get more consistent on my bbt. ill put some pictures of my lh and oura. (the high bbt i drank alcohol that night so i assume thats why it rose to .8) please help me try to understand this or if this isnt normal for it to be high for so long

Question/Advice Low LH
Hi everyone! š
This is our second month of trying to conceive, and I'm still new to all of this.
As you can see in the Premom screenshot, my LH seems to be dropping instead of rising. At first it was 0.33 and suddenly dropped to 0.08.
We had intercourse today, and I'm wondering if there's still a chance of getting pregnant, even though my LH hasn't peaked yet.
I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences!
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post! āØļø

Random Trying not to overthink we couldn't BD during LH peak
My fertile window officially opened on the 13th. We BD on O-5, O-3, and yesterday, O-2. But unfortunately my husband had to go out of town today and I woke up to a positive OPK test and a massive dip in my BBT, which signals I will probably ovulate tomorrow. He'll be back tomorrow morning, and we plan to BD then.
For reference, I am 29 and this is my fifth month TTC. Unfortunately had a chemical back in July.
I know that O-3, O-2, and O give me pretty solid chances this month and I'm probably just being obsessive about O-1. Was hoping anyone could reassure me/share their success stories of BDing further out in their fertile window. Thanks ~

Question/Advice Could today be my true LH rise?
Hi! 27(F) here and doing my best to track my TTC journey. First cycle using Inito, although I have just purchased some LH strips as well to test my LH multiple times a day vs. using the expensive Inito strips. My cycles typically average between 35-45 days, although I occasionally have random 50+ day cycles here and there.
Trying my best to not let TTC drive me crazy but some days itās hard to not let it. My LH rose slightly about a week ago with no continuous rise in PdG, so Iām guessing my body is trying to ovulate again???
