Hot Take Street Fighter Spoiler

I haven’t played Street Fighter or know anything about it so my review might not resemble some others.
Story was mediocre.
The fighting is mediocre.
Cody Rhodes and Andrew Schulz were both really funny and great.
The tournament was shit, the movie skips over almost all of it just to include mediocre story scenes in the middle of fighting scenes.
Only one actual street fight in Street Fighter.

It's a video game adaptation. One needs to go in with that in mind. The story was fine.

The fight choreography was masterclass. Name me a movie with better fight choreography in the last ten years (other than Raid:Redemption).

The movie established the fact that it wasn't going to be taking itself too seriously right out the gate, and that's fine. The environments were awesome and true to the game.

All the casting was great.

I give it a solid 9/10
