My girl is 9 months old and LOVES to eat. Breakfast, Lunch, Snack, Dinner and SOMEHOW still has room for 3 bottles 😅 But you’d never know it looking at her 20lbs and tall 😂 Even after these plates that feel like they never end she is hungry and wants more. It’s insane. And it’s not like she’s throwing most of it either, most of it she’s actually eating. Especially the pastas!

Toothpicks for everything. Son started eating apples again, and today he even ate a lil bit of pork.

He goes through the stash of them like a wild raccoon, but now it's worth it)

Pictures are of breakfast and lunch from today. I didn't get a picture of dinner. We recently weaned from breastfeeding and I feel like my 13 month old literally eats all day. She walks around signing and saying "eat" a lot lol. For example, she had two eggs, shredded cheese, peanut butter toast, and a whole banana for breakfast this morning. She ate everything except for the toast and one segment of the banana. We asked if she was all done but she kept saying eat and proceeded to eat more cheese, mandarin oranges and grated apple. I'm so so so happy that she's a good eater and I know that could change in the future. I get anxious that maybe we're not feeding her the right things and that's why she is constantly eating and snacking. She almost always eats whatever we offer to her so I don't think she's not actually hungry. Anyone else go through this? Will she eventually slow down or should we prepare for her to eat us out of house and home 🥲

Lunch was potato soup with corn, shredded cheese, strawberries, broccoli, cucumbers and blueberries. She didn't eat much of this due to wanting a nap, but ate a bowl of pasta after waking up.

Breakfast was avo toast with Greek yogurt and fruit. She didn’t eat any lol hence the post.

My little girl was about 2 months premature and has been a really finicky eater since the beginning. Never really drank much milk… maxed out at like 24 oz a day even with no solids.

Now, I’m lucky if I get a few bites of eggs, some cheese, a fruit pouch and a bite of dinner in her. She was a big baby for her gestational age, and now she’s probably a “normal” size (60th%) but I’m not convinced she’s not going to start losing weight. I’m scared to drop the milk more than I have (about 18-22 oz daily) because she’s not shown me that a drop increases her appetite.

I’m nervous that things will just be this way forever. Her eating is an incredible source of anxiety. I try to feed her healthily, but will cave to try to just get SOMETHING in her. My “caving” is trying a French fry, or a tater tot, or fried chicken….

Just looking to hear other’s stories. All of my mom friends have babies that love solid food. My baby also has ~2.5 teeth right now which can’t help…

I’ve been lurking this sub since I found out I was pregnant and trying to find inspiration that felt actually manageable for our life. You guys have helped more than I can even manage to explain!!! Our bubbas got introduced to solids a bit earlier under pediatrician watch, because my husband is anaphylactic to dairy and shellfish!! It was even airborne as a baby, so we’ve been a little worried about allergies. NO ALLERGIES SO FAR 🎉

So here’s our first submission:
Apple cinnamon oatmeal with peanut butter and raspberry chia “jam”
Scrambled eggs
Banana pop

These bubbas eat all their oatmeal every morning and eggs are quickly becoming a favorite!!!

Can’t wait to see more and share more 🩵🩵

18-24 mos My toddler's favorite way to eat a banana

If I need to occupy her for a while I give her bananas cut like this with a small slit for her to peel them individually. I also give her a plate where she likes to lay them out nicely before eating them and a small bin to throw the remaining. She actually ends up playing/eating ~15 min on her own.

If anyone has similar ideas with other foods please share!

Because we love it and baby boy loves it. And it’s such an easy way to feeds him a somewhat complete meal on a busy night. Protein. Beans. Then add some sort of veg and/or fruit. Always a home run here! Tonight, he had some carnitas, black beans, broccoli, and honestly he DGAF about the cheese lol. And he actually likes some of their salsa verde with the pork. Winner winner taco bamba dinner.

Falu sausage, creamed peas and carrots, and an egg.

This is probably the fanciest plate I’ve ever served her tbh
