How come some heroes have more options for material overrides? With the knights the arms are together but with some heroes there’s a left and right arms. Some have the chest and back as separate but for others they are together. Not sure why I just realized this now but it’s annoying.

Wanted to boot up the game for old time's sake, i know it's a niche game but i remember the movesets and grinded to rep 200. Curious though first if it's still common to run into toxic sweats, im more of a elevated-mid in terms of skill and I dont want to activate my xbox ultimate if the player pool is just competitive to the point of obsolescence of mid gamers

Let’s be honest, to get a real ranked experience in dominion as well as skill expression , feats and revenge need removed. They are really just cheese mechanics that don’t add any fun to the game

wtf is going on man. This shit might be unplayable until it’s fixed. Game will continuously randomly kick me from a match at the start and sometimes I can rejoin and other times, like tonight, it just fucking penalizes me and I can’t do anything.

Personally I think it's a neat idea to have these two priorities mingle. We've had a few heroes with armored unblockables after all, so it would be neat to see more.

Personally I think Warlord would probably feel the most natural, and I could see Medjay perhaps gaining a mix of the properties.

What are your thoughts? Do you like the combination and want to see it done more like UB and Armored attacks or would you rather they never do it again? Would you give it to someone else?

I think every other hero except Medjay and Warlord have had buffs, tweaks or nerfs in the least few years.

Medjay and Warlord truly are the forgotten hero’s and we’ve had complete radio silence from the devs on these particular hero’s for a long, long time.

Devs of you’re listening, I think I speak for all 8 of us Medjay mains that it’s long overdue he gets a buff.

Virt is genuinely such a fun and uniquely designed hero. She is so cool and unique and fun to play.

Yes, she did take an arrow to the knee, and 3 in the thigh,, and an axe head to the jaw/shoulder,,, But at least she's still "kicking"! Karina is extremely bored in her new line of work due to her injuries but she tries to do her job to an acceptable degree at least, even if she finds to real joy or excitement in being a village guard. ( The village is known for having really good horses, which is why the symbol is a horse,,, what? I don't know what you're talking about? I think it was just the wind)

I just wanted the armor and weapon. I'll probably still play it here and there but losses are gonna sting a little less cause I got where I needed to be lol. I'll also start trying to branch out to some more characters to be competitively viable with in Dom. Cause plat and up I was only playing two characters.

so i was playing ranked duels, i got this match against a Warlord where i was losing but i was ok with it cuz i had to do sum at home, so i said: "fuck it" and i went afk while losing 2-0 for him to kill me and finish the match, i came back like 4-5 mins later and my babe goes (she's not into For Honor so she only knows few things by watching me playing) "aaaw cute he didn't even attacked you!" this bastard knew exactly what he did, he made me disconnect to get a penalty instead of winning the game.🫩

I’ve been playing for honor for years now I have like 1000+ plus hours but I never really read the lore of each character. My highest rep character is Lawbringer I love to death the giant meatball I decided to try characters I don’t really use and let me tell you when I discovered this guys where the same guy I giggled. So I decided that gryphon is gonna be my second highest rep 🤣🤣

I play a lot of HL so the taunting def leaks into everyone else, just picked up Shaolin and now I want everyone to have a stance emote. Virt’s is nice too.

And I don’t mean “oh I see a afeera every now and again,” I mean a character that you NEVER see

I like to gamble in games. And this game has a distinct lack of gambling on more reward with an increase of risk. Most feats are all benefits, no drawbacks. Except for one. Come at Me.

This feat unfortunately kind of sucks. It's an active feat with a massive defense debuff. 30% if I recall correctly. In return you get extra renown gain and pretty awful heal on kill. Despite the fact that it sucks, I'm addicted to using it. A lot of characters have some feats that need to be replaced for one reason or another. So why not give them some form of come at me, specialized to their kit?

The purpose of these feats is mostly to add some fun and chaos into the game. Balance is secondary, maybe even tertiary. Don't take them too seriously please!

Conq, Replacing Shield Basher with... Reckless Strikes! (Also buff Conq dmg plz)

T2 Active Feat, 15 seconds, 50 second cooldown

While active, Conq's lights become unblockable and his same side chain lights become undodgable. Furthermore, bashes can also wallsplat. However, missing with a bash or getting light parried will cause Conq to immediately fall flat as he over commits to a whiffed swing.

Maybe the old Shinobi fall animation could be re used?

Pirate, Replacing Thrilling Comeback with... Excess Black Powder!

T2 Active Feat, 40 second cooldown after next pistol blast.

When activated, Pirate loads an unsafe amount of black powder into their gun. The next pistol blast deals double damage and knocks opponent backwards a bit farther than a normal throw which can ledge and wall splat. However, there is a 1/3 chance the pistol misfires. Dealing 10 damage immediately to everyone near the pirate, including pirate.

Usually pays off!

Kensei, Replacing Steadfast with... Kami's Vengeance!

T3 Active Feat, 60 seconds active, 160 second cooldown.

Stabbing themselves for 70 bleed damage, Kensei's chain attacks become hyper armored and top heavies can knock opponents down. Only gains this benefit while bleeding.

Honestly I don't know why steadfast still exists.

There's definitely other feats that would be replaced, but these are the ones I thought of and had a half decent idea to replace them with. Feel free to speculate on some interesting feat replacements, I'd love to read them!

Now I’m probably going to get a lot of “are you dumb he needs one bad “ whereas I don’t think he needs anything at all. As a max rep warlord I think my boy is right where he needs to be, he has pressure, he doesn’t need fancy unblockables and animations, he’s a tank that’s meant to be played slow, methodical, and defensively whereas he has enough in his kit to be played offensively as well. His heavy’s are proportional in both damage, speed, and fluid, his cancels into guard breaks too, his combos yes although he lacks the infinite chains that most hero’s have now he’s not one that needs it like I said he’s a heavy, not no damn assassin or hybrid. He is a tank and an anchor for points at very most you pick the best point to rotate from there to B and leave it at that, he’s one of the top tiers for breach just for his health tank abilities and ( don’t even say I’m wrong ) his pressure overall in ganks. I think the reason the community is like “ he needs a rework “ is mostly because of our new player base that has started playing recent years can’t play him cuz their all use to aggressive builds and he’s is not that. I for one been playing since beta and am going to be upset if they rework him cuz he’s good where he’s at, I know I’m going to get a lot of scrutiny for this but like I said as a max rep warlord my boy is fine leave him be new bloods. Pick someone else to ruin lol
