Best place for cakes?

Just received a last-minute request for me to bring a birthday cake to a family gathering of 8 people.

Any suggestions for a place to pick up a great cake this afternoon?

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. One of my kids (who happens to be in the FCC culinary arts/baking program) got out of work early and made one from scratch 😄

Walmart has great cakes... bonus points if they have one with their whipped buttercream.

I suggest you find better friends/family, cause that's rude as hell.

But also, Costco/Wegmans are solid choices.

Rude how? They need a cake, so what it was last-minute, things happen. This person was asked. Are requests from friends/family frowned upon nowadays
