My friends kid pulled that on me once

Kid waited at the door to go pee until you got up to let him out, then stole your spot?

No, she went and sat at the top of the stair (her signal she wanted to go to down stairs) so I got up to help her down, and she sprang up and stole the computer chair

That little-ass chair looks like a dog chair!

My brothers dog did this anytime the other dog was on the couch. He’d go to the door, my bro would open it and the other one would jump off the couch and race outside. The doggo number took the spot on the couch. This occurred almost nightly.
He was a super smart dog. When playing fetch when smart dog got the ball he’d bring it back 80% of the way. Goofy dog would then pick it up and bring it to human to be thrown again. Smart dog was then in place to catch the ball the next time.

My cat does that too me constantly.. She'll jump up on the table or the kitchen counter and start knocking stuff off.. I get up to stop her and when I'm about halfway across the room she rushes back and jumps in my chair.
I'm actually, currently, sitting on a different sofa because my cat is in my spot and my hound is in my other spot.

Are chairs this low comfortable?

That chair is made for toddlers and kids.

He knows that there is a 0% chance that he's getting moved off of that chair once he sits.
I love spoiled dogs. I used to joke that my parents dogs acted like they've never been pet in their entire life to guilt people into doing whatever they want.
They are successful every time.

To be fair, it's the dog's chair. It has the dog's name inscribed on it lol.

My dog does this to my spot. The second I get up, she'll dart into my seat. I'll come back, she'll refuse to move until I begin to sit down again and then begrudgingly move out of the way the last second and go grumpy wander back to her bed giving me the eye.

When my corgi was only six months old she pulled a similar move. Stood at the door like she had to go out, so I set my sandwich down on the end table and got up to let her out. When I was almost to the door she darted over to try to take my lunch. Little brat didn't even have to go out, she just went back to her toys after her failed heist

My beagle waited until Dad had to pee and then stole his bed and growled at him. Dad would then sleep on the couch, while my dog snuggled with Mom.
