Go to https://www.aifuturesmodel.com change "How long does AIs' coding time horizon currently take to double?" to 2 months to account for Mythos then you ASI by the end of the year

As a teen in High-school I read that website and its forums religiously.

Over a dozen years later everything is worse.

Oh sure, a few toys here and there have been made real. LLM's are a thing that exist. The general baseline of tech has gone up... I guess... shame efficiency and efficacy has bloated to eat the gains in most cases.

A shame enshittification has predominantly made things less effective than they were when I was twelve.

A shame we're still Earthbound when we were promised Moonbases and Mars trips and Space Hotels by now.

2027 feels less like the future to me than 2027 did. Now everything is figuratively and literally broken, rusted and buggy.

I genuinely pity anyone who still sees good times ahead. I used to think we'd have it all solved by 2046. Now I know we'll be fortunate to geo-engineer our way out of a climate apocalypse, much less have Sapient and Sentient A.I. and life extension and space travel in 50-100 years.
