Wow I haven't seen this in YEARS. Nostalgia cannon.

I almost never watch the end credits until after the Kannon mission. maximizes the pain. read far into the Manga if you haven't yet, though.

I've always seen people not talk well of the gantz anime but I might just watch it to see what the kill kei kurono arc is actually like

I liked it very much. So much that I'm starting to read the manga now.

I think it must be very bad for fans of the manga. Because the pace is kind of slow. And there's some frustrating scenes of they holding back on shooting.

People hate the animation and dub because it's kind of bad, but I did liked. Got a unique 2K charm.

Kill kei kurono is the very last arc. Not bad, but... The end was kind of meh. Gets me wanting more.

I think the manga is great but this is true I think the anime has a lot of charm, it's a very straightforward adaptation of the material, until it just doesn't continue and goes onto the filler arc, I do kind of like the weird ending personally. I love the dub and Kuronos voice and Kato, and the opening and the ending credits. And people act like oh it's so bad and reject it super hard on here but I disagree with that completely. Once you read the manga you can pretty much notice the hard cutoff from the source and just mentally fill in the rest, you should see that it's a straightforward adaptation just with bad pacing. Im still sad that it didn't do the full thing somewhat or even a couple more parts though.

The pacing of the manga is slow, as well. There will be multiple chapters dedicated to a single fight, with answers scattered sparsely throughout the manga until the ending bum rushes you.

It’s a fun series, but it has its flaws.

Will always love the anime, up until the Kurono Alien arc it's actually a pretty faithful adaptation of the manga, and that final arc basically saying that the whole thing with Gantz was a hallucination that Kurono had before dying is a creative swing I can appreciate and that I wish more short anime adaptations of longer running manga would try instead of just having these inert incomplete endings

Nice to see other people who enjoys the anime adaptation 👀 I couldn't find any positive review on YouTube. This sucks.

is still to this day my fav. wish they did more. as an 18 year old my buddy gave me shrooms for the first time and we binged gantz. one of my fondest memories of letting go of my childhood

Calling the pacing "kind of slow" is such an understatement. It is absurdly slow. They stretched out one season worth of content into two.

Because the last chunk of the anime is original content, not from the manga, otherwise it's fine, great opening too.

Actually the entire anime is filled with original content. I watched the anime first and was surprised with how much was only in the anime.

Especially depressing when Kei and Kato are leaving one after another foreshadowing their deaths man 😞

I remember someone saying in 9anime how it fucked around peoples emotions and how shitty the whole anime series was made me laugh but I think it's good overall damn shame it didn't get to have a third season where it was going to finally pick up the pace

Ignore bad anime, only manga is canon.

I mean this literally, not as hate too, I genuinely don't think I have EVER seen someone say this

If you liked it, you do you. No offense meant i just see the manga as levels above the anime.

Lean el manga, el anime hace ver al protagonista como un cobarde en el manga es un tipo serio.
