I couldn’t put back the cache

Today I arrived at a cache where the PETling was put into a tube between two branches.

After I had signed the log book, I wanted to return it, but now there was a mouse sitting on top of the tube. It almost had a look on its tiny little face like it was challenging me lol. Then it disappeared into the tube and I couldn’t put the PETling in again or I would’ve crushed it. So I waited A LONG time. It even came out and looked at me again only to disappear into the tube again. So I gave up and put the container next to the little mouse‘s new home.

Did you make sure the mouse wasn't actually stuck? (can't really see depth of the tube). It could be possible that it's to slippery to claw out of it for the lil fella

No, don’t worry. As I wrote it came out again easily and went back in. It’s not a long tube.
