Game day recommendations
Hey folks, I’m heading to Athens for the game this weekend and I’ve never been before. Are there public tailgating areas? Does the team walk in to the stadium where fans can watch? What’s the best things to do on game day?

Football Bowens out this weekend and possibly longer…
Read yesterday it was a linsfranc, and that put Bobo down last year. Hope Peanut has been in the cold tub this week because it might get busy again.

Football RB Depth Chart
1a. Frazier
1b. Bowens
1c. Peanut
Walker
Peal
Surely this is what it looks like when Frazier & Bowens are back to full health, right? I can't imagine Peanut getting buried on the depth chart any longer... He'll be used in a 1a / 1b / 1c scheme as required by any given situation through the remainder of the season.

Football I made some coaches film cutups from the Alabama game
Hey guys, I made coaches film cut-ups for the following guys against Alabama:
Gabe Harris Jr
Chris Cole
Raylen Wilson
Ellis Robinson IV
Khalil Barnes
KJ Bolden
Gunner Stockton
Drew Bobo
Earnest Greene III
The All-22 film gives you a different perspective and really allows you to see how individuals played, especially at certain positions. I'm trying to stick to draft eligible guys but if you think I missed any legit prospects, please let me know and I'll try to add them. And I welcome any feedback, positive or negative. Thanks!

Penalty yardage vs Bama since 2007
I know everyone is tired of hearing about bama and their gripe about the PI call but I decided to do some research, game by game, every single box score we’ve played bama since 07. Initially, I wrote it all out myself but to make it easier and I guess more reputable, I used Google AI to show results. The results will shock most(not UGA fans). We all know the pain of playing bama and the refs just about every meeting. UGA has been called for more than twice as many penalty yards as bama has in all those meetings combined.

Buy tickets for Auburn game or watch at the bars ?
My Fiancé and I are visiting Athens together for the first time. She is an Auburn fan and I’m a graduate of the Bulldawg University.
Should we spend 400-500 dollars on tickets to go in and see this beat down that is coming Auburns way or tailgate then hit the bars/strip to take it all in ???
Also, does anyone have a favorite place to park n ride into downtown ?
Thanks fellow silver britches fans!

Football Hidden Takeaways From The Alabama Game
I've listened to different media outlets discussing Georgia's win over Alabama and was surprised that the talking heads didn't address some of my biggest takeaways from the game. So here they are:
1) Georgia was pinned DEEP all game. Georgia's first offensive drive started on the UGA 39 after the Russell fumble. After that first drive, Georgia's offensive drives started on the UGA 3 (punt), UGA 7 (TD), UGA 25 (Int), UGA 14 (punt), UGA 25 (TD), UGA 10 (missed FG), UGA 11 (FG), UGA 7 (end of game). That's 8 offensive drives with an average starting field position of the UGA 13 yard line. To overcome such poor starting field position and put together long / balanced drives in a hostile away game against a top-10 opponent is wildly impressive.
2) With takeaway #1 in mind, pundits are still seemingly incapable of realizing that Gunner Stockton was more than just a "decent" QB in this game. Stat sheets lie. Stockton was unbelievable. Reflecting on the game, that was one of the greatest UGA QB performances in recent memory (gotta give a lot of credit to the OL for this too). Alabama's defense was too talented / fast for UGA to get screen pass YAC. Stockton was throwing the ball downfield (often on 3rd and medium) into EXTREMELY tight coverage and just carved their ass up. His efficiency and composure (on the road) had a massive impact on the momentum of this game.
3) The most obvious takeaway to me is the 'Mudita' of this team. It is so much more than a word that they use. This team is the absolute embodiment of a bunch of individual stars embracing a composed, unselfish pride in team success. For example, just look at the pass catchers. In the TE room, Elyiss Williams, Jaden Reddell, Lawson Lucky and Ethan Barbour are all stars who seemingly do not care about their individual stats. They blocked their tails off and were ready to make huge catches when their number was called. Dandridge, Humpreys and Taylor in the WR room are the same way. None of them had over 4 catches or over 50 yards in this game. But they all had a massive impact and did their job when called upon. Imagine how difficult it must be to defend an offense with 7 elite pass catchers who are 100% team-oriented. And this takeaway ties neatly into takeaway #2 because, unlike a team like Ohio State with Jeremiah Smith, our QB is not simply throwing the ball to his #1 WR 15 times / game. Stockton is elite at working through his progressions and the ball can go to any of these pass catchers at any given moment... I see this Mudita in every position group on the field. And that's why Kirby absolutely loves this team. That team-first mentality in the NIL era of college football is increasingly rare.
-----------------------------------
Saturday's game against Auburn is a terrifying letdown game. A talented yet unassuming rival, coming off a bye week, who is 0-9 against UGA in their last 9 games, after UGA played an extremely physically & emotionally taxing game @ BAMA. As we've seen in the SEC all season, big wins have been followed by letdown losses all year.
However, I don't know if I've ever witnessed a team with the emotional maturity of this Georgia squad. I simply trust this coaching staff and this team to handle their business like professionals. And, as a fan, I cannot reiterate enough the respect and appreciation I have for the Dawgs.

Chris Cole
Enough about the Alabama game, its over, we move.
Let's talk about the season Chris Cole is having. We all know Arvell Reese from Ohio State last year was a very physically impressive player who had a great season. Here were his numbers through 14 games:
34 solo tackles, 35 assisted tackles, 10.0 TFL, 6.5 Sacks, 0 INT, 2 passes defended, 0 fumbles forced, 0 fumbles recovered, 0 TDs.
Here is what Chris Cole has done through 6 games so far this season:
21 solo tackles, 9 assisted tackles, 7.5 TFL, 2.5 sacks, 0 INT, 3 passes defended, 0 fumbles forced, 2 fumbles recovered, 1 TD

That TE and RB you guys have are insane
Michigan fan here, I just had to come and say those two players ya’ll got are insane. I’m currently on vacation so I couldn’t catch the Alabama/ Georgia game live but I watched the condensed version and for one both of them are so damn fast. For one is this TE just a faster version of Brock Bowers? I think he had like a catch up the middle dude he was outrunning the DB’s as a tight end. And then the RB seemed like he was getting 15+ a carry.
I just wanted to show some love. I felt for maybe the last two years you have either had a good offense and a alright defense or vice versa but this year is y’all’s year. All I see is weapons everywhere and Gunner Stockton is still overlooked but damn he’s just so good when he is needed. Excited to watch the rest of the season.
