Bonifaz cheese?
Is this cheese actually sold in stores in Germany? I've been looking for it for the past week in multiple grocery stores but can't find it

Bonifaz is primarily supplied as a large wheel to the fresh cheese counter. You won't find it pre-packaged in the self-service refrigerated aisles. Look for supermarkets with a proper staffed cheese counter, such as larger Rewe, Edeka, Kaufland, or Globus stores.

Yes not in small stores but you get it in every bigger supermarket, Kaufland, Rewe, Edeka, in the self service dairy section, but also at the cheese counter.

I've only ever seen it offered as segments from a large wheel at the cheese counter, in many Edeka and Kaufland stores.
I have seen pictures of the smaller, pre-packaged "Bonifaz" rounds, but never encountered them in real life. Maybe they are only sold outside of Germany, or they have been discontinued.
What you can get individually packaged almost everywhere is Almzeit, which is essentially the same cheese -- same manufacturer, same basic type of cheese, quite some overlap in available flavors.
