back pain because of the cold?

hi everyone, i recently came to germany to study and i was born and raised in a tropical country so ive never felt temperatures this cold before. starting late september ive been having really bad lower back pain which i think is from the temperature? my heater is already on to the highest setting and im still cold :( what else can i do to keep warm and decrease my back pain? is it worth investing in one of those electric heated blanket that you can wrap around your back/stomach?

really? people wear an undershirt even at home? i thought about buying those sticky heatpacks but if im going to use it often maybe investing in a heated blanket thing would be better/cheaper

Wow, you already have your heater at max and are still feeling cold? How cold is your apartment? We are currently around 20°C without heating.
What are you wearing at home? My wife once had a flatmate that was always heating her room but only wearing those super short runners shorts and T-shirts even in winter, no wonder she had to turn on the radiator...
We almost never turn the radiator higher than 3 maybe temporarily up to 4 if we haven't been home for some days in winter. Otherwise we wear what we need to not feel too cold without a jacket. In winter that's undershirt (sometimes), t-shirt, pullover and for cozy evenings add a blanket (especially for the pullover and blanket wool is the best).

Okay, have you put your Shirt into your pants? That's important to not lose the warm air, especially when you have back pain. You didn't mention socks, I hope you war them. Also get warm Slipper, that will not ruin financially (as the heating costs may do).
