Support 📥 please help me I'm losing my mind trying to update my bios

I have the x570 aorus pro WiFi, I need to update so I can use tpm 2.0 so I can play a game that requires it, but every bios update I try from their website says it has an invalid bios id when I try to update, I know I'm looking at the right model for updates on the website so I really have no idea what I'm doing wrong or how I'm supposed to know which bios update to use everything I try doesn't work

What usb do you have? You need to have a fat32 usb to do so

my usb is fat 32 the bios update can read the file on the usb fine it just keeps saying it's not the right file

Is your motherboard rev 1.x or 1.1 or 1.2?

I don't know that's what I'm struggling to find out because I bought the pc second hand I don't have the box

Usually if you can open your case it should be on the bottom left of your board. Or another idea would be try each revision until one goes through

when I look at the different options for updates I don't see the revision numbers where can I find that?

You look it up with rev beside it in the search bar https://www.gigabyte.com/ca/Motherboard/X570-AORUS-PRO-WIFI-rev-11-12

Just look at the motherboard on pcb. You will see revison number
