Extensions can this script be trusted?

I stumbled upon this project on GitHub, promising attractive theming for gnome. I really like what it promises and want to install it on my machine, but as it is a pretty new project i am kind of unsure whether its trustworthy.. whats y'alls verdict? Thanks in advance.

This is the kind of thing AI is useful for. Never trust a single assessment as fact but I had chatgpt and deepseek look at it and they both said it was legitimate and the content was non-malicious.

i also asked chatgpt but figured people on here might know what theyre talking about more than an llm, still thanks for also checking tho!

I assure you nobody here is looking at it as closely as an LLM will. They can make mistakes but a human is far more likely to miss something in a large bash script like this.
