Question GNOME Papers can't find certificates for digitally signing a PDF
Ever since Mozilla Firefox moved its directory (was it version 147?) from ~/.mozilla to comply with XDG specifications GNOME Papers can't find the NSS database and I can't digitally sign PDF with my .P12 certificate that I imported into my Firefox profile. I have a work computer running Fedora 44 Workstation that was upgraded from a previous Fedora 43 (I think, I can't remember whether it was originally a Fedora 42 or not) but now I have a new work-issued laptop and upon doing a fresh Fedora 44 installation I can't get Papers to point to the NSS database to find the certificate. I can sign with LibreOffice Draw after manually specifying the certificate path but I like the way GNOME Papers does it.
Is there a roadmap for having this feature back after the change introduced by Mozilla Firefox? Maybe a way to specifying the NSS manually or something?
I'm not blaming Mozilla Firefox, moving its base directory out of ~/.mozilla was a request that has been ignored for many years and now they finally complied. Papers just needs to catch up, if I get it right.
