Problem between Google Workspace and Google for Nonprofits

Hello,

We are a nonprofit that used Google Workspace paid service before our application to Google for Nonprofits.

Today, Google for Nonprofits validated our Workspace for Nonprofits product activation.

In a heartbeat, our super-administrator was kicked out, all of our email addresses associated have been signed off. We tried support, but human support is off.

This interruption cost us a lot because we are unable to access some specialised email addresses and keep going with our activities.

If anyone as any information, we would be glad to hear from you.

When you apply for the nonprofit, you will use an email address to communicate with them. You should use an out of domain email address in case you need to recover your super admin account. Do you have that out of domain email account such as personal gmail account?

I wonder why the seed admin got kicked out. When I applied for a nonprofit account, I first have to subscribe to a paid plan (trial) then activate the nonprofit plan once it is approved, firectly from the nonprofit hub. I used the same seed admin user, and it went through smoothly. I wasn't kicked out of the old plan or something like that. The workpace trial just got converted into the nonprofit account.

If your attempt to get a human support fail, try posting in https://support.google.com/a/community

It may take time for a staff to respond but they do.

I guess they did not have a trial plan. Actually it is strange. When I applied, the trial plan was long expired, but I still can login admin account.

Yeah, it's really strange that the seed admin got kicked out. Even if they don't have a trial plan, converting the workspace from a paid plan to the nonprofit plan should have been easy.
