Jag är 25 år och känner mig ganska vilsen just nu.
Jag har alltid varit väldigt introvert och tystlåten och haft svårt med det sociala så länge jag kan minnas. Jag har dålig kontakt med min familj, har inga syskon och ingen jag pratar med regelbundet.
Ibland känner jag mig ganska ensam och vet inte riktigt hur jag ska ta mig vidare eller förändra situationen.
Ville mest skriva av mig lite, men undrar om det finns andra här som känner igen sig och hur ni har hanterat det.

I moved to Gothenburg 4 months ago and currently work full-time job. I’m trying to find a second job to earn some extra money and build up my savings.

I’ve been looking at warehouse work, picking and packing, parcel sorting, production and packaging, light assembly, stockroom work, and inventory counting. Unfortunately, many vacancies require Swedish or have shifts that don’t fit my schedule.

Do you know any companies, staffing agencies, warehouses, factories, or other employers that hire English-speaking people for evening or weekend shifts?

Are there any job-search websites or staffing agencies you’d recommend beyond the usual ones?

Are there any types of jobs I might be overlooking that would suit my situation?

If you’ve been in a similar position, how did you find your first side job here?

I’m not necessarily looking for a specific vacancy. Even recommendations for companies worth contacting directly would be really helpful.

I'm planning to do an erasmus next year in Göteborg in the Charlmes university because I've always wanted to go to Sweden and my university offers both Stockholm and Göteborg (stockholm might be too expensive).
Now nothing is sure because the application didn't even open yet but I want to be prepared.

I'm an UE citizen and if I'll go, I will stay for 10 month, I don't know swedish (I'll probably start learning anyway) and I want to know few things.
First of all I've heard of some housing thing for students and not only, that would allow to find a relatively cheap house, is it worth taking part of that or should I just look for private housing/dormitory? How hard is it to get there? Should I start to do something as soon as possible?

Next thing, I'll have a big problem since my university would only pay me 400€, I can add some by myself but I'd prefer to get a part-time job, is it even possible for someone like me? how hard is it? Does the university provide some jobs that students can take? What is the minimum badget to live in your experience?

Then some general questions, how is life there (both day and night life), how are the people, is it a crowded city?...

Hej! Jag har min systerdotter (16 år) på besök här nästa helg och hon är ett stort fan av att hålla på med sin bullet journal (alltså ambitiösa kalendrar och dagboksanteckningar). Hon är ute efter att få med sig klistermärken från caféer och restauranger (och dylikt) nu när hon är och hälsar på. Jag har sett att Viktors kaffe har klistermärken vid kassan, men kan inte komma på något mer ställe på rak arm. Tack på förhand! :)

Volvo Cars’ volume EX60 electric crossover is mired in a production crisis that’s likely to leave U.S. dealerships without “significant volume” deep into 2027.

The Swedish automaker had expected to sell about 7,000 EX60s in the U.S. this year, dealers told Automotive News in January.

Instead, two manufacturing problems have the company on track to deliver a fraction of that volume, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.

Volvo began building the midsize luxury EV in late April in Torslanda, Sweden. But production volume to date is only about one-tenth of the company’s 2,000-vehicle weekly build target, said the person, who asked not to be identified because the information is private.

Volvo sold about 500 EX60s worldwide in July before volumes tumbled to roughly 250 in August, according to GlobalData estimates.

With supplies running short, the automaker plans to prioritize deliveries in Europe, where EV adoption is stronger. That leaves no additional allocations for U.S. retailers the rest of this year, with significant volume not expected until the second half of 2027, the person said.

Volvo told its U.S. retailers that it has delayed customer deliveries in a late September memo reviewed by Automotive News. “Introducing a brand-new platform and product into a running factory is always a challenge,” the memo said. “The delays are not related to vehicle quality, safety, or product performance.”

EX60 availability will “remain limited” in the near term, Volvo spokesperson Jacquelyn Johnson said, but the company expects “a significant number” of already allocated vehicles to reach U.S. retailers early next year.

The EX60 manufacturing issues involve difficulties integrating the vehicle’s battery pack into its body and producing electric motors.

The EX60 is Volvo’s first model to use megacasting and cell-to-body construction. Mating the battery system to that cast structure has proved more complex than anticipated, according to the source who spoke to Automotive News.
