My business domain on Google Workspace was registered in January. I send a handful of normal one-to-one emails a week, nothing bulk. The domain has never been warmed up.

Every test email lands in spam. I tried 6 recipients, 5 on Gmail and 1 on Outlook.

Already checked:

• SPF, DKIM and DMARC all pass in the headers
• mail-tester gives 9.5/10
• Not on Spamhaus, SURBL or URIBL
• Google Safe Browsing is clean
• Admin logs show the account is not compromised

I think it's reputation, because the domain has no sending history. Two questions:

1. Does a new low-volume domain get spam-foldered like this even with perfect authentication?
2. What actually fixed it for you: slow warm-up, Postmaster Tools, or switching to a new domain?

Our small company is looking at separate admin accounts for IT. As these addresses are unlicensed, there is no Gmail. I know there are routing rules, but I don't know which ones to use and I am kind of stuck and afraid of getting it wrong. Basically I want to route *-admin@domain.ca to *@domain.ca. What settings do I need to get this to work?

Has anyone noticed that Gmail’s spam filters seem to be in overdrive lately? I checked a few inboxes, and they were full of things I needed to know that we’re important. I’ve been missing things for weeks, and I’m so annoyed. Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed this?

I have a job interview where I have to do two presentations, both of which have a PowerPoint and one involves sharing the screen of my iPhone. I am using Safari on a Mac.

I’m struggling with the technical side of the presentation.

1. I can’t seem to present PowerPoint in presenter mode. Would it be better to switch to Google slides?

2. What is the best recommended way to share my screen on my phone? I’m considering just joining the meeting twice but I’m curious if there’s a better way.

I have a Google Sheets file with sensitive information. I accidentally dropped it into a folder that was shared with me, and it seems like from that point on it stopped belonging to me, but to the admin of the file, because the move to trash option is greyed out I've already deleted all of the content but it still can be accessed through the changes history of the file.
Is there anything I can do?

I’m connected with a small nonprofit that set up Google for Nonprofits many years ago. Nobody currently knows what the Google Workspace administrator account or password might be.

Their director now gets this message when trying to access her organizational email: “Your Administrator has cancelled your subscription to Google Workspace.” They don’t know what triggered it and are urgently trying to restore access and protect their email and files.

I shared Google’s administrator recovery instructions, but they haven’t been able to get anywhere. The director is juggling daily operations and needs someone knowledgeable to help work through this.

Two requests:

(1) Has anyone dealt with something similar and found an effective way to escalate with Google when the organization can’t access its administrator account?

(2) Would anyone with Google Workspace recovery experience be willing to help directly—or recommend someone who could?

I am a therapist wanting to utilize meet for telehealth sessions going forward. I am struggling to commit to it thought because I hate that I cannot find a way to remove the clock from meetings! I find it distracting to have the time there, I prefer to not look at the clock until much later in the session when I need to wrap things up. Is there anyway to get rid of that thing?!

With BC getting rid of daylight savings time, there is a new time zone just for BC called "Pacific Time" which is UTC-07:00.
After switching several different Windows computers to this new time zone though, GMail is showing incorrect time stamps by an entire hour on all sent/received email despite Windows showing the correct time. The problem is present in both Chrome and Firefox.
The problem is also present in both Google Workspace and regular plain personal Gmail accounts.
Switching the computers back to UTC-08:00 with DST turned on fixes it, but in a couple of weeks that will result in the computers showing the wrong time.
Is anyone else seeing this with the new BC time zone?

I was working in our Drive on an excel spreadsheet via our domain email info@website. And all of sudden it kicked me out and said "Administrator has cancelled your subscription to Google Workspace.". I am the admin and I did not kick myself out.

What is going on? How do you fix this? The page is managed by our old @ gmail account. I can log into that. But it's not letting me get access to the info@domain site. It's been years since I've done this, so no clue what's going on.

I am completely stumped here. We have a group setup for people to email our company that is simply marketing@ourdomain.com. There are 2 users who receive those emails and one of them randomly received an email with our logo that says "You've successfully unsubscribed from marketing". This is a group so no emails are sent from it. It says it came from marketing+noreply@ourdomain. I tried sending a test email and she did not receive it but the other user did.

I send confirmation emails to clients and I use a template. Of late clients have been receiving blank emails with no text, just the signature. Any suggestions? Thanks

I am looking for some help using "hey Google" across personal and work accounts.

Looking to see if there's a way to see or know if an email is sent out or replied to as an admin?

Right now, I have emails set up to forward to the admin email. However, we want to be able to monitor if an email has been replied to.

I have been using Google Drive (GD) across three devices for a while: an iPhone 15 Pro Max, an iMac, and a Windows 11 PC.

* On the PC: I have the Google Drive desktop app installed.

* On the iPhone: I use the Google Drive app.

* On the iMac: I access GD via a web browser (due to the machine's age, it doesn't support the Google Drive desktop app for macOS).

Recently, I have been constantly dealing with the following frustrating and exasperating issues:

1. There are unpredictable instances where GD fails to sync correctly across the three devices. Specifically, while everything is always perfectly in sync between the iMac and the iPhone, the PC rarely syncs correctly or fully. I first noticed this by chance and began monitoring it systematically. Unfortunately, my suspicions were confirmed... It acts unpredictably and erratically, and I can't pinpoint the root cause.
   
2. Suddenly, GD won't let me sign in on the PC. When I launch it, the GD app redirects me to a browser to enter my Google account credentials, which are accepted successfully. But later, when I return to—finally—start using the GD app, it has stopped running and persistently displays this message: "Can't launch Drive for Desktop. Something went wrong, and Drive for Desktop couldn't launch. To launch Drive for Desktop, try restarting the application." Naturally, I’ve tried various fixes found online. None of them solve the problem; the GD app still refuses to start, even though I successfully authorized my account.

Is there a kind soul out there who can solve this PC-GD issue for me? I believe that once the PC issue is resolved, the three devices will finally work together in harmony.

These three devices—as they are—work and sync flawlessly with other services like Dropbox, Apple iCloud, Microsoft OneDrive, Mega, Sync, etc. Only the GD desktop app for Windows 11 constantly causes these issues (regarding PC sign-in and synchronization).

Unfortunately, Google seems almost exclusively focused on its AI products these days, neglecting its foundational products—which it likely takes for granted, assuming they are flawless. Yet, it is precisely these "older products" that largely keep its customers loyal. If this persistent ambiguity and unreliability around Google Drive continue, I will cancel my Google One subscription. I am already looking for "solid" technological ground, rather than just technologies for show.
