Question Fun guitar runs to learn?

Looking for beginner to intermediate melodies that aren’t just scales or solos. Parts of songs that are fun to play and would help improve overall dexterity timing and overall playing. I’ve learned the stairway solo recently but I’m looking for something more in the way of repeatable melodies. Hope that makes sense. Open to any genre- Thanks all

For variety, maybe try some bluegrass or fiddle tunes (some of them are awkward because of the different tuning)?

I’m learning Name by Goo Goo dolls. Guitar zero to Hero version in standard tuning. Good hammer on pull off exercise and it repeats several times.

Ooh La La is fun, sounds great, and was a challenge for me. Also Catch the Wind by Donovan.

Blue Sky Allman Brothers band is fun for me as well as the solo to Santeria by Sublime. They kinda even start off the same

I think the intro to Pride and Joy might be along those lines, its fun to play and repeatable, i found it good to help with timing and muting with the fretting hand since you have to strum the open strings between each chord/few notes, I can spend ages playing it trying to get it to sound just right and never get bored

There’s a song by Zebra called “Better Not Call” that has an awesome run for the lead break.

“In the Street,” by Big Star.

Easy riff reminiscent of Come As You Are with a D and G Major chord pattern thrown in.

It covers the intro and verses. I always teach it to beginners.

I play the melodies of Lady Gaga songs and try to imitate her voice with vibrato

Seriously, look towards your favourite movie scores for memorable melodies to transpose over to guitar. Whatever your taste is, but here are a few to consider:

Pirates of Caribbean - He's a Pirate or One Day

How to Train Your Dragon - Test Flight

Anything by John Williams - Schindler's List has a beautiful melody
