I am looking for rom recommendations of da/sa pistols for carry, preferably subcompact, but any info would be greatly appreciated!

P30sk is the only one not currently discontinued.

There is the P2000sk, RAMI, P224, and Px4 subcompact also, if you are willing to shop used. I listed them in order of the one I liked the most to the one I liked the least.

CZ PCR(aka CZ 75D Compact) or CZ P01

I own all of the options I'm going to mention. My first choice would be something in the CZ 75 or Shadow 2 family. Second choice would be a classic series Sig like a P229 or P239 if you can find one (probably won’t be able to find a good holster for it though). Budget pick would be P-09 nocturne. Ive owned a Px4 and didn’t really care for it.

For guns I’ve never owned before, look at HKs like the P30. Their hammer fired guns tend to be very thick though. Also I think Beretta has some 92 series guns that are more compact sized

The Shadow 2 carry or compact is probably your best choice overall. Whatever gun you end up getting, do some research on holster availability before you decide. A lot of these guns are outdated or uncommon, which means the premium holster companies probably won’t support it. Getting a good holster is so important that I would never get a carry gun that’s not supported by one of my preferred holster makers.

There really isn’t a current production subcompact.  The Rami and the S&W 3913 are probably the closest but long out of production.  P30sk exists but is a chunky gun.

If you can find a CZ 2075 Rami, it would fit the bill.
