Are there any Hardstyle ravers from Myanmar here? 🇲🇲

Hey everyone!

I'm from Myanmar, and I'm curious about the Hardstyle scene here and around the world.

Hardstyle doesn't seem to be that mainstream in Myanmar, at least from what I've seen. I'm wondering if there are other people here who listen to Hardstyle, Rawstyle, or other harder dance music genres.

I want to learn more about the culture, the festivals, the different subgenres, and how the scene works in other countries.

For those who have been raving for a while:

• How did you first get into Hardstyle?
• What's the difference between the local scene in your country and the international festival scene?
• Do you think Hardstyle could grow more in countries where it's still relatively underground?

1 Got into hardstyle because of edm artists like timmy trumpet, showtek, headhunterz, w&w etc...; we have untold, neversea/kapital, saga etc... and Netherlands has decibel, defqon.1 etc...

2 went in germany harder styles rave 2 times and crowd i found chill, fun. In romania here i didnt went to harder styles event. 3 yes and no

Ohh got you bro! Defqon.1 and Decibel are definitely on another level when it comes to harder styles festivals haha. And that's cool that you went to raves in Germany! Having a chill and fun crowd makes such a difference. That's the kind of vibe I'd love to experience here too. I'm still learning more about the scene myself. Before following The Hardstyle Syndicate Myanmar's knowledge posts, I honestly didn't know that much about all the different styles and the culture behind them. Now I'm getting more curious about the whole scene. Since you mentioned Romania has festivals like UNTOLD and SAGA, do you think Romania could eventually develop a bigger dedicated hardstyle festival, like the ones in the Netherlands? Or do you think hardtechno will stay the main thing there?

Low chances to develop dedicated hardstyle festival (i mean like defqon1 apex toxicator etc with high stages because in romania we have harderstyles raves/small festival like in bucharest etc zones) and hardtechno arent main but underground (?) Because of other popular genres like pop songs and manele and etc other genres is popular, but we had holy priest at untold and etc)
