I hate these stupid gimmicky ai slop video game mash ups. I genuinely do no care for them. Everyone is acting like it’s the coolest shit in the world, it’s a fucking gimmick you laugh at for 5 minutes before moving onto something with equal or less substance. It’s also more justification for ai being pushed into every little fucking thing for no reason.

also ask them why they hate AI, they'll cite how much power it wastes. while spending 12+ hours a day on multiple screens, constantly supporting companies that waste fuck tons of power unnecessarily.

people live in echo chambers. There are things that suck about ai, and things that are insanely cool, but most anti people only know how to be anti something, so the discussion can't even begin to be had. its just all anti arguments.

Doesn't help how easy it is to spread goofy shit on social media of some outdated model giving bad info, and pretending that it is at all representative of the current standard. Not to mention the major labs shooting themselves in the foot by offering up subpar models for free to the general public who already struggles to grasp the basics of what is happening not only when they ask AI something, but when they google something or interact with anything on the internet for that matter.

The hate not overblown actually, but that because you look at AI and not the annoying ass data centers, they make noise, drain water and sucks more power then I use in a year, they also can increase the heat around it.

The hate not for AI, it's for the data centers and that never change unless they can fix everything and also actually make real profit. The protests, the hatred, is because of how shit it is to live with one. No one and I mean NO ONE wants that crap anywhere near them.

But you don't care, you rather gain all the benefits with none of the downsides and that's normal honestly, our phones, computers, everything is made off of third party labor. Difference is Americans are now the third party and the rest of the world gets all the benefits with none of the down sides.

That why Americans hate it, because for once we got to deal with the crap, that's why it has hate, that's why it will fail, if it was in Africa or hell the middle east, Americans wouldn't care, but we are to special to deal with this shit.

Also why china will easily surpass america in this field, because any bitching can be handled by making a few people disappear, I mean their commiting a genocide and no one wants to talk about that, do they? If they can hide a genocide they can handle a few annoying whiners.

But hey enjoy it, I doubt you care about others suffering, hell I am typing on a phone uses sweat shop workers and children working in mines to make said product, no one cares about those that suffer if it doesn't affect them.
