I didn’t put spurs for the same reason I didn’t put the mavericks. We met twice, and we split. to be a rivalry in my opinion you gotta meet over and over again. It’s really hard to have inter-conference rivalries for this reason

I agree. I also feel like fan sentiment regarding the Mavs/Spurs is a lot more positive than the Celtics or Knicks.

Spurs definitely. Maybe a bit less for the Mavs though. Their fanbase still whines about 2006 whenever they get the chance, can’t accept D Wade lit them up so they hate on him and call it ‘rigged’

Soo annoying lol. I remember paying a trip to Mavs Reddit one time and they literally have a “FUCK DWADE” flair that is quite popular and used by many.

I hate people who can’t accept defeat lol.

Alr that’s crazy 😭😭 most Mavs fans I’ve met irl don’t hold onto 2006 like that, but I have definitely seen some online sentiment regarding that finals. Still feel like there’s a big gap between Mavs and Celtics/Knicks.

What’s wrong with 3? Probably the best rivalry in the NBA

The Knicks rivalry from the 90s is number 1. Nothing has or will ever compare to the viciousness of this rivalry. Players, coaches, and fans all fucking hated each other. It was amazing. Words can not describe the electric energy in Miami Arena when we'd play the Knicks in the playoffs.
