Discussion Heat preseason observation thread. A few of mine:
The new guys can pass. Bobby and THJ had some incredible passes that stood out to me.
Giannis’ free throw attempt is down from 10 seconds to about 7.
Niko gained some real core strength and stability.
Davion got even faster. Wiggins even more reliable.

Giannis & Bam will be a black hole, and Wiggs is gonna feast. I see Klay being a pick your poison as well since his court vision is solid on top of being deadly beyond the arc.
When he gets into in-season rhythm mannnn.
RC is gonna be a spark plug with O. This Def is gonna be so damn strong & stingy, like a baby’s grip on the bottle. Nick is gonna be a motor on the glass when he comes in.
I’m curious about what the rotations will look like and if Spo will play beyond 10 man.

Hard nosed team with 2 stars, solid vets, good role players and a sprinkling of youth that’s not too young. This team is ready to win now. All we need is good health 🙏

Davion finishing at the rim has improved.
THJ seems very motivated and he’s shooting really well.
Giannis will put up big numbers. Hes a legit top 5 player and poised to be in the MVP conversation. The gravity he takes up is going to free up guys like Wiggins especially.
Speaking of Wiggins, his three ball looks amazing .
Bobby was knocking em down against Orlando. He’s a streaky scorer but will have some great games off the bench.
I think Pelle will likely be in closing unit due to his defense being better than klay’s

Spo is willing to play big due to Portis and Jovic shooting along with Richrards rebounding. This means Miami may have games where all 5 of it PF/C plays. This will mean Klay maybe playing less minutes than anticipated.

Great takes! I like core strength one! It is obvious in his finishing. Passing out of those two probably wont last but I am here for it. Wiggins game is best when playing off an action. Davion is LOCKED IN!

I'm a Giannis fan 1st and thats how I ended up here, so let me give you a little insight on Bobby from watching a ton of MKE games. His mental is going to decide which Bobby you get. When playing with a lead he's 6MOTY caliber. He makes intelligent passes, plays aggressive D, and you love to see him take a corner 3. However, when behind he gives up some desperation fouls, he tries to take isos, and he will get techs.
I love Bobby, but sometimes Bobby can be a problem for Bobby. I'd still rather have him than not have him.
