Football Midseason Predictions

Let’s see if the Hokies can win the expected W games. It’s possible to W 4 of the remaining 6. Winning 3 would be a great season imho.

We won’t win out but I consider every game winnable. We almost beat Miami last year with a worse team, ACC madness anything can happen. 7 wins and a W over UVA though and I would say the season is a good start to the rebuild

All games are possible wins here except Miami. I mean we’d be undefeated rn if our kicker didn’t have the yips.

He needs to not even dress for the next game. Let him watch the game and not be stressed. Clearly kicking in games that matters has gotten to him

Cal is barely better than GT and had multiple star players out. After the way we've looked in the past 4 games nothing is a given. Unless there are major changes to this team real quick GT and Stanford are a coin flip. Every other game is an L.

SMU is a turnover machine sometimes definitely a shot there.

Clemson is pretty good still.

UVA is kind of confusing and are they good? VT is kinda built to beat them our Dline is good but secondary is not but UVA runs not throws.

UVA is definitely regressing. Syracuse should have won that game if they could play some kind of D.

Not really. We've exceeded our win totals from last year. UVA is regressing from their solid season last year.

I was talking about the D playing consistently. We could have easily won the last two games.

I’m going to the game Saturday, first time ever getting to see lane stadium. Been a fan since 03, just never worked out for me to get up there from Georgia.

I could see something dumb happening like losing to GT or Stanford but somehow beating Miami

I’ve watched both teams play a few times this season and IMO Clemson has been much more impressive than SMU.

Both could end up being Ls for us, don’t get me wrong, but it’s surprising that SMU is a unanimous L while Clemson is the mixed one.
