I’m based in Houston and built a free site for entry-level and hourly jobs

Hey Houston! I’m the founder of NewBeeJobs.com.

I built NewBeeJobs because I believe people who are ready to work deserve a chance, even without a long resume. With so much attention on making quick money online, I wanted to help people discover the confidence, responsibility, and opportunities that come from those first jobs.

My goal is to make it easy to land on the site and feel, “This is the kind of work I’m looking for. I’m in the right place.” I’m doing the legwork to bring relevant opportunities together, while giving you tools to help you prepare and take that next step.

The site focuses on entry-level, hourly, part-time, and seasonal opportunities—for teens(16+) getting started, people with little or no experience, and anyone looking for their next opportunity.

You can browse jobs, get help creating a resume even without work experience, and use BeeBuddy, our Ai helper, to prepare for interviews and navigate your job search.

It’s free for job seekers, and employers can currently post openings for free too.

The site is still new, and I’m working to make it more useful. If you check it out, I’d appreciate honest feedback—what works, what’s confusing, and what you’d like to see.

https://newbeejobs.com

Thanks for checking it out and supporting a local founder!

Anyone know a dry cleaning plant in Houston/Katy that does wholesale?

I run a small laundry and dry cleaning pickup and delivery service in the Houston/Katy area. I don’t have my own plant and I’m not planning on building one, so I’m looking for a cleaner that does their own work on site and would take my orders as a wholesale account.

Need dry cleaning, launder and press, and wash and fold. Doesn’t have to be the same place for everything. West side would be ideal but I’m open to anywhere in the Houston area if the price and turnaround are right.

I’d drop off and pick up myself, pay weekly, and start small so we can both see if it works out.

If you own a plant or know someone who might be interested, comment or shoot me a DM.

Looking for an Opportunity to Learn HVAC — Houston, TX

Hi everyone!

My name is Neil, and my wife and I recently moved to Houston from South Africa to start a new chapter in our lives.

After spending almost 30 years working in retail operations, management, and business development, I've decided to take on a completely new challenge and pursue a career in HVAC.

I'm currently studying HVAC through SkillCat, working through the fundamentals of heating, cooling, refrigeration, electrical systems, and safety.

But here's the thing — I know that no amount of studying can replace getting your hands dirty and learning from someone who knows the trade!

I'm looking for a local HVAC company or experienced installer willing to give me an opportunity as an entry-level installer helper or apprentice.

I'm not expecting to walk in knowing everything. Quite the opposite! I'm looking for someone willing to teach me while I work hard, assist with installations, carry equipment, learn the tools, and gradually develop the skills needed to become a qualified technician.

What I can offer is a strong work ethic, maturity, reliability, decades of professional experience, and a genuine willingness to learn.

I'm based in southwest Houston, around the 77036 area, and currently rely on public transportation, so opportunities accessible by METRO would be particularly helpful.

I'm looking for a paid entry-level opportunity where I can contribute, learn on the job, and continue my studies.

If you're an HVAC business owner, installer, or know someone who might be willing to give a hardworking newcomer a chance, I'd really appreciate hearing from you.

Sometimes all someone needs is that first opportunity.

Thanks so much, Houston!

Neil

HIRING My Fit Foods CEO

Last month, I saw a posting for a personal assistant to the CEO of MFF, Mario Mendias.

Personal Assistant to the CEO | Ambitious. Resourceful. Reliable.

https://www.glassdoor.com/partner/jobListing.htm?pos=102&ao=1136043&s=238&guid=000001a13f909044a3779063a4789655&src=GD_JOB_AD&t=ESR&vt=n&uido=CE47A61A73D4ABAB6513481CCBEDE83D&ea=1&cs=1_3c81be48&cb=1792067807343&jobListingId=1010289990617&jrtk=5-yul1-0-1k4vp143c24sn000-9596a3f85bc31afa

In 2015, Mario was arrested in for public intoxication and possession on cocaine. Two years later, MFF suddenly closed every location.

I was living in Austin at the time. It's why I remembered MFF and Mario. I don't have the qualifications (most importantly, living within 5 minutes of the Rice University area). But if somebody is looking for this kind of work, here you go.

HIRING ⚠️ DECEPTIVE EMPLOYER WARNING: RAM Recruiting & Alliance Health

Job seekers on ZipRecruiter need to be highly cautious of RAM Recruiting listing positions on behalf of Alliance Health. They are engaging in severe bait-and-switch tactics, title deception, and retaliatory behavior to collect sensitive data.

Recruiting Agency: RAM Recruiting

End-Client Company: Alliance Health

Platform: ZipRecruiter

Titles Used: Executive Assistant / Administrative Assistant

The Deceptive Tactic:
The Bait: They advertise an Executive Assistant position with full executive-level responsibilities.

The Data Harvest: They take you through the interview process, issue an official offer letter, and run a full background check to collect your highly sensitive data (SSN, date of birth, previous addresses).

The Switch: Once you pass everything and sign, they silently downgrade the title on the final paperwork to Administrative Assistant.

The Retaliation: When called out or questioned about why the title was changed, the client retaliates by immediately revoking the offer and claiming they "no longer need anyone."

The pay was also lowered from $55k - $65k to $50k - $65k

The Proof: Days after claiming the position was closed, they reposted the exact same advertisement on ZipRecruiter under the downgraded "Administrative Assistant" title.

This is a malicious way to farm background check data under false pretenses and punish candidates who advocate for themselves.

Do not trust RAM Recruiting or Alliance Health with your information.

**THEY HAVE BEEN REPORTED TO THE FTC FOR DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES, JOB SCAMS AND FALSE ADVERTISING*\*

How can I break into HR in Houston, TX, as a Business Management graduate without internship experience?

Hi everyone!
I recently moved from the UK to Houston, Texas, and I’m looking to start my career in Human Resources. I graduated around two years ago with a degree in Business Management, specialising in People Management.
Unfortunately, I didn’t complete an HR internship during my degree because I was already working full-time at the time. However, I’ve gained practical experience in other roles, including working as a convenience store manager and a leasing administrator. These positions have helped me develop transferable skills in communication, administration, organisation, problem-solving, and working with people.
I’m now hoping to transition into HR and would love some advice on getting my foot in the door here in Houston. I’m open to entry-level opportunities such as HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, Recruiting Coordinator, or similar positions where I can learn and grow.
For those working in HR or who have made a similar career transition:
How difficult is it to break into HR without internship experience?
Would my management and administrative experience help me stand out?
Are there any companies, recruiters, or job boards in Houston you’d recommend?
Would you recommend applying directly for HR roles or starting with a temporary or contract position?
I’d really appreciate any advice, recommendations, or leads. Thanks in advance!
