The two options are probably 1) unscrew the screws that are probably up inside those holes or 2) unscrew the entire leg like a screw

you left option 3 out, break the leg off

option 4 looks like this

Those holes are screw holes. Not sure what type but usually Philips or whatever the technical term is called.

Perpendicular cross hatched torsion device.

Alternatively, cruciform torque applicator, manual or powered.

Screw driver in the holes

If you shine a light it is probably a phillips head

Unfortunately Philips head. Fuck Phillips.

When woodworking and using screws, I prefer Phillips over slotted. The screwdriver annoyingly slips out of slotted heads so easily, but using the appropriately sized screwdriver for Phillips doesn’t have that issue.

Yeah, slotted is better if the screw is stuck, but with the correct sized Phillips, stripping is greatly reduced so it’s not much of an issue.

Those aren’t your only two choices

mine has those on the bottom, but to remove the leg the whole leg twists off

Yikes. Those holes are screw holes. They have screws. You use a screwdriver to remove them. Feet come off.

Long screwdriver. Shine a light to find out if it’s flat head or Phillips

The entire thing probably twists.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Me and my girlfriend literally got into a fight about not being able to fit it through the door. I was so overwhelmed I couldn’t think. I appreciate it.

You were so overwhelmed, that you didn’t think to take two screws out of two screw holes? We gotta work on your stress management.

That’s fair, lesson learned.

do NOT use a philips bit, it will strip.
