they were large considering how loud and confident Democrats were in both elections. It’s almost as if they were out of touch with the actual sentiment/ reality of the country’s perspective.. but thats liberals for ya. Same with most issues - they get loud in their silos and forget the majority of Americans disagree with their politics.

Is it, though? Decades of cuts and dismantling of public education and social programs, coupled with a seriously fucked up healthcare system that among all it's problems loves to force drugs on people to enrich the big pharma companies and cause massive dependency on prescription medications has continued to lower the average intelligence of American citizens. On top of that, the people in the USA are some of the most propagandized people on this planet. They worship billionaires and corporations and those dumbest of the dumb fight the hardest to continue the bullshit and make it even more difficult to get out of the hole they dug. It is literally no surprise at all how he got to take the highest office ein the USA. there is more, obviously, but if you think it's a mystery you just might be among those idiots that helped get him to where he is.
Edit: plus he and so many of his allies control the majority of communication in the USA. And nearly all the media. And the media isn't even required to stick to facts in the USA. So again, not in any way surprising. Smarten the fuck up.
