The oil companies promised a billion dollars to Trump’s campaign, but high oil prices mean long-term demand destruction in their business — which is kinda really fucking stupid on their part.
Every freight company that goes out of business and parks their trucks because of high diesel prices is what demand destruction looks like.
Every person worldwide who gets fed up with high gasoline or diesel prices and buys a ore efficient vehicle, especially an EV, that will be on the road for the next 20 years is what long-term demand-destruction looks like.

It all really started because of the threat to Israel and the nuclear bomb ambitions of Iran. Iran also has no business trying to control the strait. If Trump had followed up with the revolution that was sparked up in Iran, maybe the situation wouldn't have festered to the events of today. What did he do instead? The US backed out when the protest was at its peak.
The Iranian regime cracked down on the protestors and had them killed or jailed. A few weeks after backing out, he goes forward with an attack saying- look, I have the Iranian regime under chokehold and you can remove this regime from power.
But by then, the ones who were supposed to take over had already been muzzled.

Iran already didn’t have a nuclear weapon. They didn’t have uranium that was enriched enough to make a nuclear weapon. They never tested a nuclear weapon or ballistic missile that could deliver one to USA or a reentry vehicle. They never threatened to attack USA with a nuclear weapon.
Iran nuclear weapon weapons = yellow cake uranium. It’s just another fake reason to justify endless war and shift even more wealth to the elites.
