Even to continue this logic: Trump blames Ukraine for attacking Russia's energy infrastructure and "raising" diesel prices. Russia supports Iran, and by doing so, supports the stranglation of the Strait of Hormuz which raises global diesel prices. Trump caused the crisis in Iran. Trump blames Ukraine. Putin wins.

u/Reasonable_Option493 7h ago

Everybody is playing him like a fiddle. Let's not forget Netanyahu, the guy who for decades has been saying that Iran has been "within weeks" of getting nukes. We also had an American journalist who was wearing a PRESS vest assaulted and robbed by Israeli settlers, and our mentally challenged and unqualified ambassador in Israel is nowhere to be found.

Regarding Russia, it's wild. Trump announces a deal with Russia regarding the import of fuel, hours later he questions the legitimacy of Zelensky and suggests that Ukraine needs a new leader. Trump is a puppet for Moscow. It's going to take decades to rebuild trust with our allies. Great job MAGA šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ¤”

Sorry to say that, but it will never happen without big changes of you constitution, if this happened once it can happen again.

I think Trump have shown the world that USA is not trustworthy. Not your constitution, not your leaders and not your people (who voted him in).

You know whats even stupider? The amount of diesel Trump bought from Russia is enough to last about 1-2 days...Ā

7

u/Wild_Neighborhood605 6h ago

Putin will not supply even this. He most probably won't supply anything. He has a fuel shortage crisis in Russia and he has to feed the military too. At least 50 % of his refining capacity is down and will stay down for months to come.

5

u/Justhe3guy 5h ago

Don’t worry, Trump will just pay in advance since he loves spending money that’s not from his own pocket. See every company he’s run into the ground, the donations you can make to him and the presidential trips to his properties where he makes White House staff and secret service pay…

The art of the deal.

The only impressive thing with this con man is his ability and willingness to abuse a system that allows people who have the $ to sue others into oblivion.

The man couldn't even run a freaking casino. In most if not all other developed nations, he would have never made it to becoming a billionaire; he benefited from a system that truly rewards the privileged, no matter how bad they are at their business.

Regarding the war, you'd think that after failures like Vietnam, Iraq 2.0, and Afghanistan, some officials in positions of power would have at least learned something. I guess not enough to stop this ape from starting a mess with Iran. He refused to listen to those who might have warned him that this wouldn't be like Venezuela, where you drop 3 bombs and it's over in 2 hours. You don't need to be an expert to see that Iran would be a trap, but perhaps that's the plan all along because some people are definitely profiting from this shit show.

I don't understand how MAGA supporters cope with their terrible decision. The guy is trolling them non stop. He promised tariff refund checks, they're still waiting (or forgot). You know who didn't have to wait long for their $600 million check? A mega corporation like Amazon, that posts billions in net profit yearly, lmfao. What happened to "end the war in Ukraine as president elect", "cheaper groceries on day 1", or " Kamala will start wars, I will be the president of peace"?

This admin of imbeciles can't even be bothered to properly interview candidates for the position of press secretary, as if "I passed the bar exam in China" would fly. The irony of MAGAts calling Biden's picks DEI hires when you look at all the unqualified idiots in Trump's admin! I am so tired of this circus. And most democrats in office should be ashamed for their lack of spine and commitment, when you have 85 year old Bernie always at the front line, what the heck are most others doing?

2

u/doc_daneeka 3h ago

The man couldn't even run a freaking casino.

To be fair, he wasn't trying to. He was using casinos to get rid of some of his personal debt, among other things. Trump personally made a bunch of money, and when they went bankrupt he made sure the losses were suffered by other people, not him.

From his perspective the casino scam was a complete success.

There was also a report that Russian is buying the oil from Iran.Ā

4

u/Lil_b00zer 7h ago

The diesel, yes.

2

u/esjb11 7h ago edited 7h ago

This really isnt about economics. Its not like Russia makes that much more on selling it to USA than India anyway. Trump wants to make noice for the midterms. Pretend to care about diesel price etc, while Putin is superhappy watching all the Europeans running around screaming about the deal, asking for distanceing between Europe and the USA, driving a vedge between the two. The actual economic aspect in this is very limited, and it was never about it

9

u/Andromeda_Revisit 5h ago

We all know that USA started "the war" by attacking Iran.
We also know that Russia by not selling oil to USA or Europe didn't take the prices to the levels which are today.
We also know that American oil companies (which are huge sponsors of Trump) are making huge profits from the USA attack on Iran and they have all the reasons to keep this going as much as they can.
Nothing is stupid, everything is going as they are planned by big oil and gun manufacturing CEO's.

2

u/WizeAdz 3h ago

The oil companies promised a billion dollars to Trump’s campaign, but high oil prices mean long-term demand destruction in their business — which is kinda really fucking stupid on their part.

Every freight company that goes out of business and parks their trucks because of high diesel prices is what demand destruction looks like.

Every person worldwide who gets fed up with high gasoline or diesel prices and buys a ore efficient vehicle, especially an EV, that will be on the road for the next 20 years is what long-term demand-destruction looks like.

Achieving regulatory capture of the United States government turns out to have been a really fucking stupid long-term play for these guys, because the administration they bought doesn’t have any guardrails.

I’d say ā€œoopsā€, except that the worst of the consequences will fall on innocent bystanders who had nothing to do with this.

2

u/Willthisaccountlas 57m ago

Oil has historically had a low elasticity of demand

2

u/zanzara1968 2h ago

We also know Russia gave Iran targeting data from satellites to shoot and kill US servicemen in the Gulf and Giordania

2

u/Frequent_Opportunist 10m ago

It’s brilliant how he is able to pull this off. He is indeed, the GOAT

2

u/saltiest_raccoon 5h ago

It's only stupid if you don't realize the point is to make the ruling class richer.

They have the money to buy up oil and sell it when the price spikes. They have shares of the companies making the bombs and drones.

Things like war are prohibitively expensive on paper and seem stupid-- But you have to consider whose money is being spent and who is profiting. We are footing the bill and they are getting rich.

Wouldn't it make more sense for the USA to buy oil from Iran and cut out the middle man? In fact to save time and money perhaps the USA could bomb its own Middle East military bases and they can sell themselves oil to pay for it. That cuts both Russia and Iran out of the equation and puts the USA in full control of all aspects of this situation.

1

u/wallstbull 6h ago

What’s the issue? This situation is totally Trumpish and fits the script which is our reality here in the ā€œUnitedā€ States 100%.

The war is fake. The video says that a supposed Iranian missile hit a parked car in Tel Aviv, but closer examination of the video shows no missle. The car, in fact, flips up from the bottom. I found this guy on B*tchute named jkrane694medical, and he has a number of videos about how the war with Iran is fake. At first glance, he seems kind of paranoid and out there, but the footage is quite convincing. He slows down the video and shows people the exact split second that the explosion takes place.

I can't post links to his channel because of Reddit censorship, but I can post this YouTube video from NY post and you can see for yourself.

Where? Where has he stabbed them in the back?? We give billions and billions of dollars to all of you cowards. Every year. You need to pay better attention and stop watching the biased news on CNN. And 1- we don't need them. But it's their waters and their obligation to their neighbors to respond. I don't understand why they are all afraid of Iran. We wouldn't have to police the area if they got together and did it themselves

Usa is obliterating Iran. Russia pours precious resources it cant afford into Iran. US buys cheap oil from Russia because they need cash fast. Russia turns around and uses cash to support Iran, which usa immediately turns to rubble while training its troops on how to shoot fish in a barell. Usa wins, Ukraine wins. Russia is bankrupt. Iran is dead. Seems like a win win rofl

Russia has said pretty recently they would be open to using a nuclear weapon…. I don’t remember ever seeing Iran saying they would use one…

yet, we can’t allow Iran to get one and we’re helping Russia defeat Ukraine and who knows what else beyond that?

Even simpler: Trump is not at war with Iran. He’s at war with America, and Iran was meant to be a tool in that war.

With less than 60% registered of 18-29:

2022 National Youth Turnout: 23% - That's lower than in the historic 2018 cycle (28%) which broke records for turnout, but much higher than in 2014, when only 13% of youth voted.

Elections have consequences.

No one figured that out from 2016-2020?

The stupid is also the American people that couldn’t be troubled to fill in a bubble.
