Segítségkérés Weird Hungarian Translation Request

Hi guys,

This sub has been so wonderful in helping me decipher my grandfathers documents. I have a translation request, with a caveat: I need someone to find the document first 😂

I am located in Canada, and am trying to look up information on the Elektronikus Levéltári Portál. From my research, it looks like the government makes it difficult for those outside of Europe to access it, so I can't get on the page. I've tried hungaricana.hu as well, but as I only can read a few words in Hungarian, it's difficult for me to navigate.

I have been on a journey the last few years to find out the fate of my great great grandfather, and I was got a big missing piece in the puzzle. I'm not convinced I will receive what I need from the municipality, hence trying to access it online!

If this is something you're willing/ able to do, please let me know! :)

My computer has not given me that option- I think if I downloaded Chrome it would work, but on Safari it doesn't let me translate the website. And truthfully, I'm not sure if what I need is on there.
I'm looking for a death certificate that was entered into the archives in Körösszegapáti in 1957. From my research, if it's going to be anywhere it will be on the Elektronikus Levéltári Portál. FamilySearch only has the Körösszegapáti death records up until 1956.
I do have a request in with the municipality but that could take months, if they respond at all. I've been searching for this information for over 2 years, so I'm getting antsy! :P

Born Nov 11, 1909 in Körösszegapáti
Wife was Margrit Fejes

You seem to be ignoring what I'm saying, lol. I have already been through this website multiple times. They do not have the record for his death, because in Körösszegapáti the records only go until 1956. I need 1957. Which is why I need someone to search the Hungarian sites for me.

Yes, that is the person, and that's my tree. I have 1992 there because his birth record that "u.b. 14/1992" in the notes, which apparently means that something was added to the archives in 1992 about him. However, I was just informed on Friday that his death record was entered in 1957.

Oh, I see, sry, slept like 3 hours again, but I get it now, then you need to write to "MNL Hajdú-Bihar Vármegyei Levéltára" and ask them for the certificate.

I'm checking the https://www.eleveltar.hu/kereses perhaps there is something there.

im checking it, but the nemzeti levéltár is so badly designed, fighting with the filter lol

so in the civil registration, the Körösszegapáti death records only go until 1956. the Hadju-Bihar archives told me it was added in 1957, which is why I wanted to try the  Elektronikus Levéltári Portál

This is his profile on FamilySearch. Family Search does not have death records for Korosszegapti for 1957. They stop at 1956.

hey bro, I think I found one candidate... I forgot to tick the box next to the filters lol, so I found one Person with this name and a spouse named Margit Fejes, but the data shows he died in 1992. Let me export this, hit me up in private and I will send it to you
